Facts
- Before their debut, in their trainee days, they were known as the Woollim girls, and later it was rumored that the name of the group would be Radiance.
- Before debuting, Jin released ‘Gone’, Baby Soul ‘No Better Than Stranger’ and ‘She’s a Flirt’ and Ji Ae ‘Delight’.
- On November 3, 2014, a pre-debut video was unveiled, showing the group’s effort in their practices.
- They are the first female group of Woollim Ent.
- They debuted with Candy Jelly Love on Melon’s TOP 20.
- Member Ji Soo will not be present at the debut due to comments circulating online accusing her of certain rumors such as harassment or rape.
- On November 25, 2014, the debut album of “Girls’ Invasion” ranked #9 in Taiwan, showing its popularity overseas. A representative of Woolim Entertainment said, “We are receiving a great number of overseas offers. We are very thankful for those offers, but we will focus on its promotion in Korea first.”
- Lovelyz performed together with GOT7, WINNER and Red Velvet, at SBS Gayo Daejun, the 4 groups shared a single stage with “Moves Like Jagger”, which surprised many fans.
- INFINITE member Sung Jong came out on episode 5 of LOVELYZ DIARY. He said he went to give full support to Lovelyz as it is the first girl group of WOOLLIM.

- They were appointed ambassadors against tobacco by the Ministry of Defense, with the aim of reducing the number of smokers in the army by 30%.
- Lovelyz in Winterland had an attendance of 6,600 people, 78.6% of whom were men.
- They were named honorary ambassadors of the K-LEAGUE, the first group of girls to be ambassadors of a professional sports league.
- The album R U Ready? disappeared as of 11:27 pm KST from Melon’s listing due to an internal problem, returning at 1:00 am KST which caused great confusion among fans, Woollim reported that he had received an apology from Melon.
