WINNER is composed of four members born between 1991 and 1994. Their names are: Yoon, Jinu, Hoony, and Mino. They are the winners of the reality show WIN.

All four members are Korean. The oldest member is Jinu (born Sep 26, 1991). He was 22 years old when he made his debut with WINNER. The youngest member is Yoon (born Jan 21, 1994). He was 20 years old at the time of WINNER’s debut.

The group debuted originally as a five-member group. Former member Taehyun departed from the group in 2016.

  • On March 20, singer and songwriter Yoon Jong Shin revealed the participation of WINNER members Seung Yoon and Mino in his monthly project titled WILD BOY.
  • On June 10, 2014, WINNER kicked off the beginning of its long-awaited debut by releasing a teaser called ‘The Visitor’. This was followed by a launch campaign plan officially released by YG on June 12, which spanned 3 weeks from June 16 to July 6 with the first two weeks titled ‘Test Week’, ‘New York Week’ respectively.
  • Mino was the leader of Team A, but, unfortunately, he injured his ankle ligament and Yang Hyun Suk decided to replace him with Seung Yoon, he stated that it was the best decision because Seung Yoon has leadership qualities that he does not possess.
  • One of their flagship songs is a cover of “I’m officially missing you”, they usually sing it to the fans and the fans to them.
  • After his album release, two videos were uploaded on his official Youtube account for his alternative rock song, ‘Color Ring’ and his mid-tempo hip hop track, ‘Empty’. With the latter he surpasses one million views in less than 24 hours.
  • ‘Empty’ was written and composed almost entirely by iKON’s B.I, who gave it to her as a gift for her debut.
  • They achieved a perfect all-kill on the Melon charts (digital purchases). They also reached the number one spot on iTunes in 5 countries Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Taiwan.
