  • On November 2, 2012 they performed at Music Bank in Viña del Mar, Chile, at the Quinta Vergara, along with; Super Junior, CNBLUE, RaNia and Davichi.
  • Brave Brothers who has produced her previous hits such as “AH!”, “Diva” and “Because Of You”, were in charge of producing her new single “First Love” from her 6th single album.
  • Before their comeback First Love member Lizzy was not present at both the MV and the performances because she had injured her leg, but she was in the audience at the performances. On July 18, 2013 it was announced that member Nana had injured her hip falling from a height of 1.5m, after her performance at MBC Music’s Show Champion and had to be taken to the hospital. This is the reason why she also could not be in the performances from July 19.
  • Member Nana in an interview revealed that when she, Raina and Lizzy graduate from After School, they will still be together as Orange Caramel.
  • The girls graduate when they understand that they have completed their time in the group and wish to go their own way even with After School in mind.
  • After School does not believe in “Together Forever”, they prefer to say that it is as long as time allows. They wish that even when they are no longer part of the After School group they will continue because they want it to be a group that will be remembered forever. And be a long-lived group.
  • First Love’s MV was ranked 1st on Billboard’s “Top 10 Sexiest Kpop Videos of 2013” page. Billboard wrote: “Girl group After School wins the title of sexiest video of 2013 for proving that sexiness can become a real skill. Pole dancing has long been associated as a sleazy dance tactic. But these girls highlight athleticism and beauty as well, sometimes overshadowed by its presumed meaning-and doing it while looking utterly radiant. Mind-blowing clips of the girls zigzagging up and down on the bars are juxtaposed with beautiful, vulnerable shots of the members–some without tops–singing to the camera. Given that 2013 has proven to be the sexiest year of kpop, the visual of ‘First Love’ showed that there is certainly skill that can be highlighted as an act that undeniably seduces viewers.”
  • The song “Week” with Brave Brothers reached #20 on the Melon Chart (140222) and reached #1 on the Bugs and Soribada charts despite only being a collaboration.
  • They trained for almost 7 months for First Love, the girls ended up bruised and injured, Raina especially was unable to pole dance in all the performances until Nana got injured and had to take her place, in addition to Lizzy’s injury.
  • They were planning to make a comeback in 2014 but Raina commented that the song was not good enough and they did not want to disappoint their fans with a mediocre song, they would rather wait to make a powerful and unique comeback that will once again amaze the Playgirlz/boyz and the rest of the Kpop fans.
  • Jooyeon graduated from the group on December 31, 2014, in order to concentrate on her personal projects and acting career; as a group they held a fan-meeting to bid her farewell on January 11, 2015, in March 2015 she will be given an official farewell in Japan along with the release of a Japanese album.
  • After Jung Ah’s graduation, there are no 1st Generation members left in the group.
  • It was announced that Kahi former leader of After School, would marry Yang Jun Moo, CEO of fashion and handbag brand Incase Korea. The private wedding took place on March 26 in Hawaii. JungAh, Jooyeon and Orange Caramel met at a dinner and congratulated Kahi on her wedding.
