  • CNBLUE holds the record of winning the first place in South Korea’s music programs in the shortest time after its debut. Just 15 days after releasing ‘Im loner’, they won their first award. However, YG’s debut group ‘WINNER’ broke that record with only 7 days after its debut.
  • FNC decided that before debuting in Korea they should mature as a band and decided to send them to Japan. The company paid the rent for their dormitory and the parents of each of them had a fixed amount they could send them. Since their individual amount was very little, the four of them pooled their money and covered each other’s expenses, yet they went hungry and sacrificed things like buying clothes or cutting their hair. Jung Yong Hwa was cast in the Korean drama “You’re Beautiful” but he sent them the money from his pay and regularly traveled to Japan to perform with them.
  • CNBLUE is the first South Korean band to make a world tour. Only dance groups had ventured into world tours such as Super Junior or BIGBANG, so CNBLUE’s tour gained a lot of attention as the first South Korean band to go on a world tour.

  • Crying Nut also claimed that CNBLUE had released a DVD of the concert in Japan and had been profiting from it. Crying Nut also claimed that CNBLUE used the original track of the song, i.e. they lip-synced over the original audio (they didn’t even sing themselves). Later, CNBLUE countersued Crying Nut, claiming that the intellectual property theft was the responsibility of CJ E&M and the company responsible for the DVD sales.
