Facts
It is the second female group created and produced by Shinsadong Tiger after EXID.
They are the first K-Pop group to be produced by Universal Music Group and the first K-Pop group to be part of a US label for their US activities, Republic Records (being a subsidiary of Universal Music Group), prior to their debut.
The girls are compared and recognized with an animal, and the icon of the animal of each one is used in social networks to identify them:

EXID and BLACKPINK are their role models as a group.
During the prologue recordings for their debut with “TRI.BE Da Loca” two of them had to face various problems: Songsun ended up crying when she had to dance with a sore knee due to an old injury and Jia learned a new choreography at the last minute because she hurt her ankles shortly before the recording started. Hyunbin on the other hand helped TRI.BE’s choreographer finish the choreography of Soeun’s prologue at dawn.
To perfect and improve certain steps and angles of the “RUB-A-DUM” choreography, the girls had to learn a new version a day before the video shoot began.
