  • The name Apink was only a temporary name but after spreading widely through the Internet, the agency decided to use it officially.

They were sent 6 Seoul Metropolitan Police officers were placed around the building, to prevent any incident, at 10 pm the person who made the call did not show up and the police started investigations inside Plan A Entertainment, the girls were forced to stop their practice and were moved to their dormitories where in addition to being security of the company they had surveillance from 2 policemen. On June 15, the threatening man contacted OSEN news media saying that he called because the details reported are not true. He said, “It is not true that I threatened to kill them because Apink’s agency sued me for malicious comments. I called only twice. Nor did I disrupt the company’s work.” The man claimed that his reason for the threat was because of Apink’s airing on blind date shows with rookie male actors. He explained, “As a fan of Apink for six years, I spent a lot of time and money on Apink. Seeing Apink on blind dates, not even with actors, but with trainees, made me feel betrayed. I called his agency to complain, but they gave me a vague answer saying they didn’t know, which made me angry. So I called the police with the threat of death.” After all investigations the person who made death threats against Apink could be sentenced to up to 3 years in prison or a fine of 5 million won.
