BtoB is composed of six members born between 1990 and 1995. The oldest member and the leader of the group is Eunkwang (born Nov 22, 1990). The youngest member (maknae) is Sungjae (born May 2, 1995). BtoB has one foreign member. Peniel is the only foreigner in the group. He was born in Chicago, United States. All the other members were born in South Korea.

• They debuted on March 22, 2012 with the songs ‘Insane’ and ‘Imagine’.
• They earned the nickname ‘Super Rookies’, ‘Energy Rookies’ and ‘Monster Rookies’ after their debut.
• Eunkwang and Minhyuk were active composers before BTOB debuted.
• They are the second male group of the Cube Entertainment company.

• BTOB has launched its official Japanese fan club “Melody Japan”, five months after it debuted in Japan. The group, which was in the promotion phase in Japan, held a launch event for its Japanese fan club on March 22 in Tokyo. Approximately 3,000 fans showed up at the event. Famous Japanese guitarist Inoran of Luna Sea was also present to support the group. During the fan meeting, they introduced the new single as well as their other new songs ‘Regrets of Love’ and ‘Magic Time’. They also had a cake-cutting event to celebrate the start of their Japanese fan club, showing off their impressive language skills.
• BTOB, with their new single “FUTURE-TOMORROW” is number 2 on Oricon, all the members were very grateful to their fans, so much so, that on Twitter, each one commented messages thanking them for their support, and that they loved them very much.
• BTOB is #2 on Billboard Japan Hot 100 and #2 on the CDTV Chart, and ranks 1st on Tower Records Shibuya Store Overall Daily Chart with the Japanese single ‘Future’.
• 90,000 copies of the single “Future (Tomorrow)” were sold on Tower Records.
• The “HELLO MELODY” DVD ranked #7 on the Hanteo Realtime Chart, and on the Synnara Realtime Sale Chart it ranked No. 1.
• At the press conference in Japan BTOB is asked, “Q: If your popularity keeps increasing, you will be very busy in Korea and Japan, do you think you will be fine?” The answers were, Eunkwang: We will be happy. I want to be busy. Sungjae: I prefer work days to rest days. Ilhoon: We don’t see it as work day. We think they are times when we can communicate with fans.
