“THE ORIGIN – A, B, or What?” is an audition program that will unveil its mega boy group project planned by IST Entertainment (The home of Apink, VICTON, THE BOYZ, Bandage and Weeekly) jointly produced with Kakao Entertainment and Sony Music Solution.
“THE ORIGIN – A, B, or What?” is a differentiated audition program in which 13 trainees compete to perform the best ‘balance game’. The contestants consisting of trainees in theirmid to late teens, are hidden gemstones that have been discovered through several global auditions as well as in Korea and have a perfect balance in both sterminates and visuals.
The final line up consist 5 members selected by the public and 2 members picked by the balancer (judges). The chosen members would be debuting in a new boy group in the second half of 2022. The debut team name ATBO is an abbreviation of ‘At the Beginning of Originality’ and it contains the aspiration to unfold a new and original story in the global K-pop market.
