Got hooked to this drama after watching the first 2 episodes. The director of this drama has made dramas in the past that led me to watching kdramas: I am Sorry I Love You, Snow Queen and the latest Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Hoping for a happy ending

Have been waiting in 2 year for new movie of Ha Ji Won
December 2nd, 2019 at 8:46 am
So much action in 1st episode – 2nd episode filling it out nicely. With the usual injustices driving the backstory, this seems like it will be a typically good K-drama. Love the food prep scenes.

Great drama so far. Love all the cooking scenes. Great to see Ha Ji Won again. Leads have great chemistry together. Thank you Netflix for showing this drama.

God! I felt exhausted after watching 4 eps, too much things happened in a short time, and it doesn’t make any sense, like how could you runaway to grece just to avoiding ur childhood crush, you just met him once gurlll! And dont you fallen in love to another man, you seems like in ur 30’s, you must have been having fallen in love and even making in love with another man dont you??? I mean, i just got bored with the same cliche storyline when the main female lead is pure innocent girl with no experience at all in lovey dovet thingy, even though she was very very mature in age matter. And she choose to got o greece, is south korea a small country or what? I mean, common you ar in your mid 30’s how could you runaway to another country because of that reason. Also the drama is all over the world, and all over the time and space, jump from korea, to libya, to greece, and than through the past, and coming back again to the present time, and suddenly the doctor got emergency call and performed operation, what’s your focus here? and because of that, it feels like there is something missing, some story is incomplete, everything is in hurry just to make the main lead to come closer to each other

Lol anyone who dont like melodrama is not rocomended to watch this story. Its not a heavy melodrama but it quite make u feel wavy if u hate melodrama. But for me I love this story. There is a lot of things, feeling that they potray in this drama. Their fate of love for example. More over, most of scene at Geosong Hospiece make sense these day. Most of children didnt want to take care of their parents but just want their parents money. 😭 Its the truth and sad at the same time. 😭😭😭 What I want to say is this a good piece of drama. Realistic. Plus watch if u can handle melodrama! 😉✌🏻

Ha Ji Won’s dramas are always looked forward too. Just finished until episode 12 and I know the rest will be awesome and good too. The drama started really slow but it built up beautifully. This is a slow romantic and beautiful story. After seeing so many dramas – this comment has nothing to do with the acting or story – and after seeing a few dramas, I HOPE the clothing sponsors can release nicer clothing to the lead actress. Not just here but some are really lame clothing. And what’s with the Korean mid fringe which is going on in so many Kdramas? parted in the middle, neither here or there. But clothing and hair aside, definitely worth the watch.

I agree with #14 and #15. I stopped watching after episode #4.

The acting is superb… I don’t even like Ha Ji Won but I like her here and of course the lead Man is my all time favorite.. he looks and my heart aches…
January 13th, 2020 at 9:28 am
this drama takes me through different emotions and i love it….if you haven’t watched…you don’t know what you’re missing…..

Lead actor Yoon Kye Sang started to act cute in episode 14 when he is determine to woo Ha Ji Won no matter what is the outcome. ha ha ha

Great acting and melodrama. i’ve watched kdramas for over 15years. i just love this one – it’s fresh.
January 19th, 2020 at 4:00 am
This drama was not cliche at all. It was “exhausting” because death feels lonely and this writer was able to capture grief in such a real way. That’s why this drama is great.
I think the writer did an excellent job. It wasn’t cliche at all. Overusing cliche is cliche. lol. in response to laralalara

January 19th, 2020 at 11:08 am
there’s a story worth watching, but a little slow, and ending for some characters. a very good series to show the products of the main business sponsors!

Agree with #14.. it was all over the place and seem so ridiculous to leave for greece just avoid her crush.. a crush that happened years ago when she was about 10 yrs old!
I nearly gave up.. when he was send to libya and the many directions the characters were going. Had to rewatch the first few episodes to catch on. Am in episode 9.
March 31st, 2020 at 3:28 pm
Yess sadly agree with #14
it was actually worth watch for the first episode, but got tired afterwards to jump off with same plot over and over, and does not even make any sense which kind of wasting my time. There were many things happened that cannot be called as ‘coincidence’.
Somehow I felt terrible for her ex who died, when all she cares is her own feelings to flight out to greece just because she cannot stand her childhood love. I meant in that instance amount of time how come you suddenly fall out of love your boyfriend over his friends? lol
but gotta admit, the ost is good to listen.
Looking forward for Yoon Kye Sang next project. I love him in Beyond the Clouds.

Was an all time fan of Ha Ji Won. Quite disappointed with the recent years dramas she picked. The drama ratings said it all and I guess there’s no chemistry between the leads in her recent dramas.

This show was pure magic. It is a deep show since is has death as a theme. The music was outstanding and made me buy the album and I don’t even understand Korean.
The leads are fabulous and they should be exhausted after these beautiful life filled performances. It was the first thing I ever watched by the leads but was captivated enough to go and find more work by all. I have watched Chocolate at least 3 times from beginning to end.
I now see many of the supporting actors/actresses in other shows.
I’m from America and have gotten bored with most of our shows. This was quite refreshing on Netflix and I have invited many of my friends to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed if you watch to the end. It is deep and don’t give up. If you want fluff this is not for you.
