Jiyun Kim Huong is a professional Vietnamese interpreter, actress, and TV personality based in South Korea. She is fluent in Vietnamese and Korean. Originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, she had came to South Korea to pursue her master’s degree at Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul. Her decision to study in South Korea had stemmed from her interest in Korean culture in high school. At the time, she was a fan of the Korean boyband called H.O.T. and wanted to learn Korean to have a better understanding of their culture.
In 2012, she had her first acting role in the South Korean show, "Hometown Over the Hill 2". She got this role over other auditioners despite never having taken acting classes before. In 2019, she was in the show "Chocolate" and in 2021, she played Trang in the show "One the Woman". She has also appeared on some South Korean talk shows.
