Kim Hye Sun is a South Korean actress and model. She began her modelling career when she was in middle school and later, while attending Anyang High School of the Arts, she also began appearing in commercials several brands. She made her acting debut in 1986 as a bright teen star. She made her Japanese debut in 1988 using the name Shirakawa Shoko and also released two popular photo books there. In 1993, she won Best Supporting Actress at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for her performance in "Love Is Oh Yeah!". She married in 1995 and retired from the entertainment industry, but came back to acting two years later. She is best known for her leading role in the television drama "First Wives’ Club" but later was involved in some controversy as she starred in the film "My Secret Partner" as it contained several nude scenes.
