Hur Jun

This great historical drama is about the stormy life of Hur Jun, a legendary doctor of the Joseon Dynasty.
Hur Jun was the illegitimate child of the governor of Pyongyang (a region in Northern Korea) and spent his days acting as the leader of a smuggling ring. When caught, his father arranged for Hur Jun and his mother to leave for Gyeongsang (a region in Southern Korea). This is where he metthe reputable Dr. Yoo who discovered his talent and interest in medicine and healing people. Soon his life started to make a complete turn from his sordid past and he went on to become the Emperor’s physician.
