Brave Girls is composed of four members born between 1990 and 1993. The oldest member and leader is Minyoung (born Sep 12, 1990). The youngest member (maknae) is Yuna (born Apr 6, 1993). All four members are Korean. The group originally debuted as a five-member girl group and went through multiple line-up changes throughout the years.

On the episode of KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” that aired on March 2, 2012, Brave Girls performed with their song “Nowadays You”. The girls experienced various problems during their performance, which consisted of interference on the screen and one of the members falling down.
The song ‘For You’ released in 2013, is the only song that the group released as a duet, as at that time, only Hyeran and Yooin were members of the group, the song was released after the departure of Eunyoung, Seoah and Yejin.
After 3 years of hiatus they returned in 2016 with a totally renewed look and 5 new members.
The group revealed that they will not be able to wear the sports costumes they appear in their new music video “Deepened” on live broadcasts.

After 4 years since the song “Rollin” was released, it reached the top spot on Bugs on February 27 and as of March 1, “Rollin’” is ranked No. 1 on Bugs’ real-time chart, No. 3 on Genie’s real-time chart, No. 29 on FLO’s real-time chart and No. 90 on Melon’s 24Hits. It went viral after a YouTuber shared an edited video of Brave Girls’ renditions of the song along with YouTube comments. The song is also known to be popular among soldiers serving in the military.
On March 5, Brave Entertainment officially announced that the members will once again promote themselves on music programs to re-perform their 2017 hit “Rollin” due to the request of many fans. Brave Entertainment officially announced, “In response to fans’ requests, Brave Girls is preparing to go on stage on music programs, and their preparations are in full swing.”
Brave Girls is the first female group to take the longest time to reach #1 and thus win a trophy on a music program, it took the girl group 1854 days, since their debut. The second group is Jewelry with 1493 days and the third female group is CLC with 1427.
In one of their recent interviews the group confirmed that they had plans to break up in 2021. But due to the support they are receiving they feel that this is a new beginning in their career and that they will do their best to continue.
