I am dying to watch the last few eps, 30-32, please let it be a ending that i want … yong shik with tae-hee … yong shik’s charm won me over. I prefer their relationship than what she had with the ex-hubby. God, meddling from ex-hubby and his mom, bad guys from the company and yong shik’s dad, obstacles that are breaking them apart when they finally found their feelings mutually. So unfair!

  30. 30 : ann Says:

Can anyone tell me the story?it’s look like worth to watch.thank’s!

  31. 31 : Be Real Says:

This is drama needs some work, it is poorly written and very inconsistent. Some characters are well developed, and parts of the story is believable, but some are horrible and unrealistic. The connection between the two main characters, Hwang Tae Hee and Goo Yong Shik, is horrible. Hwang is a middle age woman. While Goo is younger and lost in the world – growing up without mother and family. I get that. But the writers are force feeding the audience with a love story between the two that does not seem natural or possible. Goo’s acting is saving that story line. This is not about love, but about passion, and the writers are going on and on. This drama cannot last 50 episodes because people do not belive their love story – Main characters are not well developed. The writers of this drama must be immature, lacking life experience. Corporate life and corporate politics are well presented in this drama, and Goo’s story of his real mother and half-brother invites sympathy from the audience, but is less than half believable. Make it real. Write a story that people can relate & understand.

  32. 32 : carmen Says:

If you want to continued waching Secret Garden on this really really funny drama =Once Upon a Time in Saengchori
you will find on episode 13 some part of it, and you will see Chuno too and Baking…, it is really good drama to see…to tell more more about it there is this guy that was really smat with numbers, he got hit by a ligthning and end up not know to as 1+1, can not read numbers at all, you need to see it an enjoy it

  33. 33 : ann Says:

@be real:thanks for telling the story line, did you finish the last two episodes?how about the love between 2main character?did they have a happy ending?thanks!

  34. 34 : Alex Says:

    BeReal, I agree with you!

Omg, the comments from immature girls saying that they wish yong-shik and tae-hee together. Are you kidding me?

dude…if you think hwang tae hee and yong shik should end up together you have some f’ed up morals.

Btw, Bong Jun soo was always for Hwang Tae Hee, despite his past relationship with Baek Yeo-Jin. The only thing between junsoo and taehee is a misunderstanding. He sure done f’ed up when he lied at times but overall Tae hee still thinks jun soo liked yeo-jin during their marriage…he didn’t! That was in the past!

  35. 35 : pooh Says:

    I can’t watch episode 31, my vikii can’t loading.how is the ending?did taeha going back to her husband?or no?oh I’m soo curious!!

  36. 36 : Happy Says:

If the audience want more realistic drama – try watching Hk
HK drama – they are definitely more in line with “real” life. However I like Korean drama for their fairy tales endings – make me happier!

    I Love It!

  40. 40 : Alex Says:

So, I left a comment from earlier below, but now that I’ve finished watching it, here’s my review:

This drama started with promise but just ended on a record low.

In my opinion it’s a sad reflection of the modern young adult’s (warped) perspective on marriage and relationships. Sora’s (the daughter) feelings were never considered in the outcome of Tae Hee and Jun Soo’s marriage. All they ever did was show Sora smiling, as if divorce is something that only affects adults and not children. Sora’s feelings were put aside so that some fairy-tale story where the young star-stud Yong Shik could hook up with the victimized wife.

Hwang Tae-Hee never seemed to have considered giving a chance for forgiveness and reconciliation. As for the writing, her feelings toward Yong Shik were much too sudden and abrupt. It was not a smooth transition but a feeling of indifference to love from one episode to the next.

Baek Yeo-Jin. What an immature girl. Holding on obsessively to Jun-Soo, a married man, and not worrying about anything except for what makes her feel good. She never considers that what she’s doing is breaking up a family, and even if she did she doesn’t see that as being wrong as long as she gets what she wants.

Yong-Shik was much like Baek Yeo-Jin, except the male version. The very definition of a hedonist. Do you what you want, as long as it feels good and is good for you. Who really cares about the feelings of others, right?

Bong Jun-Soo. Stupid idiot for doing stupid things like not avoiding Baek Yeo-Jin and not telling the truth, but in my opinion the most realistic character and the most responsible out of all. He admits his faults and in the end, puts things of importance, such as Sora and his marriage in front of his wants, and tries to attempt to reconcile the marriage by asking Tae-Hee to live together abroad so that there is a chance that there could be healing and reconciliation. But does Tae-Hee even try? Nope. Just flies off to San-Francisco.

Basic messages and themes of this drama:
    1. Do what feels good for you. That’s all that matters.
    2. Marriage is a commodity, not a serious vow.

Some of you reading my comment might think I’m some super conservative, for family fundamentalist, but believe me, I’m not. I’m pretty darn liberal in all my beliefs. I’m all for divorce in certain instances like a husband who chronically abuses his wife. However, marriage is a serious vow, not a commodity, and even if in a marriage or relationship one person did something to hurt the other person extremely bad, there should always be an attempt at healing and reconciliation. If it has been tried, and it still doesn’t work out, then I think divorce is a valid path.

But that is exactly what this drama did not propose. A fairy tale, comic book story written by an immature drama script-writer which sadly, reflects many of todays youth’s perspective on marriage and relationships.

I don’t like this series because park shi hoo is not the main actor!
why is he only the second player ..?
but,, you’re acting real nice park shi hoo,,

  47. 47 : tracy Says:

All Park Shi Hoo’s fans should watch this drama! He is so magnetic and hot! Although he started as a second lead, he actually took over the main lead role in the second half of the series and is the one that carrying the drama through. It is a happy ending where he actually succeeded in proving himself to take over the company’s rein from his dad plus ending up living happily with Tae Hee and his mother.

He looks better here than PP and displayed great acting abilities! Please do not give up watching this drama particularly from episode 11 onwards!

  48. 48 : yullieannE Says:

    to TRACY…..yuuuppppp,,,, you were right!

in this series, PSH indeed take over the lead role …
possibility in the first episodes, ratings are not good
so happens the turn key role ….
PSH since become the first actor, rating the series has increased dramatically!!
    salute for PSH ……

at first few episodes its boring,
But its getting Interesting when ParkShihoo’s character appeared.
    Ha ha he’s funny,and
He always help and comfort hwangTAEHEE.. I like PSh so much..

  56. 56 : TC Says:

To bblvE07: QOR is better than QOH due to its plot and it also did not have happy ending for the second lead, Sang Hyun unlike in QOR where Park Shi Hoo finally got the heroine!

The stills and promotional pictures for QOR are so misleading! They should change to highlight Park Shi Hoo as the main male lead which is actually the case.

Park Shi Hoo’s fans should read QOR series review by Girlfriday in Dramabeans which I share her views ie QOR is the most crack addicted drama! You will definitely fall in love with Shi Hoo’s character in this drama – simply awesome especially the behind door confession and the reunion kiss at the last episode! Have watched the dramas for 5x already!

  57. 57 : jinjoo Says:

i’m liking this drama as it goes along….i didn’t watch it while it was airing but now i kinda catching up! i agree park shi hoo’s character is cute & i think i won’t consider him a second lead here i’d just say both Joon? & him are equally in the lead if there’s such thing!
btw, does anybody here know the actor’s name who plays the police chief? he’s cute & quite good & fluent in English…i also like Im ji kyu, the sec. to park shi, wow a lot of times he stole the show, oh he’s super funny & so natural hahaha he cracks me up. anyway, i’m now only epis 23 but hope to reach my goal today to finish this! pls if anybody knows that actor’s name who plays the policeman, pls post it here, i’m a new fan of his plus Im ji kyu who really is cute!
I’ve always liked Park shi hoo since How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor, then Prosec. Princess, he’s adorable!

  58. 58 : jinjoo Says:

i just finished watching this drama and i agree with some of you here, this is a lot better than Q of H — the plot is far more nicer and happy ending for everyone in the story! i’m really glad i decided to watch this since i’ve been holding it for a while coz of many other kdramas that i got engrossed with. i highly recommend this to others who haven’t watched this! i once again fell for park shi hoo and also im ji kyu who’s so funny & cute playing his role as secretary! i’d rewatch this again for sure! 🙂

  59. 59 : sangjhoon Says:

i never thought this drama would be this good…i agree, this is much better than Queen of H. I also like Park Shi hoo, he’s awesome! a much watch drama, even the OST is beautiful, I liked the song Dazzling Confession by Sung si kyung…love his voice so much! i like the ending of this compared to Queen of H. I’m glad it’s up to 31 episodes coz i never got tired watching this….i’m a big fan of Park – he’s one of my 10+ best actors since seeing him in Perfect Neighbor, Prosec. Princess etc.

    Thx, purplemaplechic.
Are the songs available on one CD? I don’t understand Korean but they have got to be amongst the best.

  75. 75 : Princess Says:

I’m watching Queen of Housewives with my mom I think it almost done.
Anyways does Queen of Reversal have anything to do with the Queen of Housewives plot or is it a completly different plot? like does it have anything to do with the characters from Queen of Housewives?

  76. 76 : tc Says:

To Princess: QoR and QoH are not related at all and only have one thing in common ie Kim Nam Joo as main actress. QoR is better than QoH in terms of story plot and there is actually a reversal of role in hero whereby the second lead, Park Shi Hoo actually took over the main role and got the heroine. He is so awesome in carrying the drama through particularly the second half of the series and has very good chemistry with Nam Joo. He
Also has best bromance with his male secretary and their antics really livened the drama. Wonderful OSTs as well.

To Koreandrama: QoR is a romantic drama where two guys are fighting over the heroine but as mentioned above, the original lead actor, Jung Ho was outshined by the second male lead,Shi Hoo who played the chaebol’s heir
and took over as lead in the second half of the drama. Would recommend this drama to those who like romantic series, Can skip the first few episodes as the drama only gets interesting when it focus on Shi Hoo and Nam Joo’s scenes.

Song: Let’s be Happy, sung by Byul

    I happen to hear
    You’ve begun a new love
    Seems like there’s much happiness
    I think it’s good…

    Walking on the way home
I often think of what u said to me
She is fine; It feels a little strange
    My heart is sad

***I am on the spot with you
    Let’s be happy, become happier
We loved so much, so much love
    Remember the past memories

    Sometimes I’ve also missed you
    Some days when I’m crying
When we broke up that day
After a while, I have difficulty thinking

    We live happily forever
We cannot keep a promise to each other
It is sad, but I’m okay, becos of your happiness

    Missing you very much
I was happy I loved then
It’s hard for me, tired of living, I want to cry

    Let’s keep our memories

    Let’s become happier now.

If you are happy, I will be happy

  82. 82 : KDaddict Says:

    Re #81:
That is the song in the youtube link you gave, n the lyrics that u asked for. But this song doesn’t seem to be part of the QoR OST given on this thread. Maybe it was released separately.
Anyway, all these love songs don’t ever say v much. It’s mostly:
    I love u,
    I want u,
    I miss u,
    forgive me,
    pls me happy,
    I am sad, etc. 😉

  83. 83 : ah Says:

I like the song!! Beautifull, i love the player too. they were great…drama starts very well, so that i would always made my self finish my work earlier.. Couldn’t wait to watch it..
But suddenly the story broke my heart.. I can’t force my self to love this drama, I found my self very dissapoint. how n where should i express my unsatisfying? Aaaakhhhh… I don’t why would I be this mad, my regret watching the drama, maybe i was hoping than tae hee n jun soo would be back together, but they didn’t, on the other hand, park shi ho was to sweet (kyaaaa)..and why i didn’t hear the word ‘saranghae’ from bong jun soo???…
well, thats make differ to the drama story queen of housewives, i understand, however why..why..why i can be this heart broken….mbuh kah!!! And KNJ sshi, why would you always play this ‘strong wife’ role, who always fight your husband for misunderstanding matter..ahh, you’re really2 play good so that I felt this way, can’t wait to see your next drama..I hope you’ll play another character… By the way, FIGHTING!!!

  84. 84 : ah Says:

i still wanna cry..oh i’m sorry for being this annoying.. Because jung jun hoo looked deeply in love with his wife..but why he couldn’t act romanticly like park shi ho?
Funny, when i saw QoH, i prefer YSY then OJH..why i can’t bear with the end of KNJ and PSH being together..(basicly i went to watch the drama because ‘park shi ho’ was written on the cover), and why couldn’t i stop protesting?!
But i love the song so much..

  85. 85 : Yuki Says:

    Dear KDaddict:

I left a response to your comment on Park Min Young’s site.

By the way, this is one of my favorite Kdramas. I love both male and female characters and their love story.

  86. 86 : PSH Says:

I love PSH from this drama. He acted very well. He really touched my heart.

  87. 87 : hanslovers Says:

park shi hoo’s character in this drama is really every girl’s ideal type boyfriend. a guy who’s loyal to his girl who has rejected him many times. he always loves her unconditionally. he’s totally making me crazy

  88. 88 : KDaddict Says:

I left a response to your comment on the Park Min Young site.

  89. 89 : Jennie Says:

I’m only on Ep 5 of this. All I can say is I hate Tae Hee’s short hairstyle, I don’t like Yong Shik at this point in the drama and I dislike the husband more. Nothing wrong with Joon Soo’s character but something about him just doesn’t gel with me. Can’t see his sincerity.. mayb it’s his acting! Nam Joo is bearable altho I can’t imagine her pairing with PSH..what’s the age gap between them, anyway? I know she’s 35 but him? And I was kinda surprise that there’s actually a daughter! Ugh..I am watching this because of all the great reviews and recommendations but at this rate, should I continue for I don’t feel optimistic nor have any enthusiasm either? Any kind words of support for this drama from anyone? ♥♥♥

  90. 90 : tc Says:

Hi Jennie (89): It gets better in second half of the drama after the divorce and when the drama starts to focus on Yong Shik’s story on his romance, bromance with his secretary and housemate, his struggle to win control of company from his half sibling and relationship with long lost mum. If you are impatient, you may want to skip earlier episodes which focus on Nam Joo’s relationship with her husband and watch from Ep 12 onwards . Do watch the second half of drama if you are a PSH fan, he is so romantic and go all out to show his love and so hot!

  91. 91 : tc Says:

To Jennie (89): Please don’t give up watching if you are PSH’ s fan as the story actually gets more interesting in the second half when it focussed on Yong Shik on his romance, bromance with his secretary and housemate, his fight with his half sibling to take control of the company and his relationship with his long lost mum. If you are impatient, perhaps you can skip the earlier episodes and continue watching from Ep 12 onwards after the divorce. PSH is so romantic and hot in the second half of the series and go all out to win his love. That’s why he won the Excellence Actor Award for this drama whilst Jung Hoo won the Turkey award as it is rare that the second lead actually took over from main lead and become the leading actor in KDrama and won the girl!

  92. 92 : Jennie Says:

@tc Thanks for the reply. You must be one big fan of this drama- from your enthusiastic reply 😀 I’d probably fast forward all the boring parts and continue watching. Otherwise, my money would be wasted. I bought the video you see and the good thing about watching from video is that you can do anythg you want asap..haha! I don’t like skipping parts, cos it takes away the flow of the story and one can’t appreciate a drama as much by doing so. By fast forwarding, I will still know what happened and etc. Btw, I also bought Family Honour/Glory of Family, so I’ve got lots of PSH to last me until his next drama/movie, not that I am his greatest fan 😉

  93. 93 : KDaddict Says:

    @Jennie and TC,
I started Family Honor. It is really pretty good, tho I don’t like PSH’s char in it in the first 8 eps that I’ve watched. In it Yoon JH is sensational!
For this one, I think if we skip the 1st 12 eps that deal w the original pair, the 2nd half becomes better as TC recommends and as the ratings above clearly show!
Like I said, Hi-Kick 3 is the best antidote for getting over TPM! Light, brainless laughs!

  94. 94 : Rose Says:

Hmmm,,, I was watch this drama for 2 episode, but I was so curious about the end,, can somebody tell me what will be the ending? Is that
Kim Nam Joo will be happy ever after with Park Shi Hoo? Coz I’m not sure i want to continue to watch this drama if the end not like what I hope to be,,,

  95. 95 : Jennie Says:

I have just started watching Ep 13. In the end, I didn’t skip much and I am glad I did not. Agree that the bromance is good and PSH becomes more likeable and I’m sure I will soon be drawn and mesmerized by his charms and whirlwind romance. But before that, just wanna say this. I am disturbed with the fact that Tae Hee just denounced her marriage in a matter of like half an episode and the seriousness of Jong Soo’s offence is to me, not to the extent that warrants a divorce. Just as JS and Manager Mok said, there will always be secrets. JS did not cheat on his wife and the only mistake he did was to steal the document. He also justified his reasons for not telling TH his past with Yeo Jin and it made sense to me. Sure, TH has every right to get angry but to ask for divorce just because? I believe in the sanctity of marriage and to divorce over this little matter is a little too harsh and this is the one blip in the scriptwriting that I find troubling. No doubt they were in a hurry to give more airtime to PSH due to his popularity. Right, got that off my chest and now I’m ready for the roller coaster ride with PSH!

  96. 96 : tc Says:

Hi Jennie: Agree with you on the rationale for hasty divorce. Originally this drama started with only 20 episodes but due to the popularity of PSH, the drama was extended with a reversal in male lead. Audience wanted PSH to get the heroine and the change in focus of main story to Yong Shik has managed to increase the viewership rating for this drama.

  97. 97 : sarahning Says:

I agred with jennie, that’s something wrong with JJH. I don’t like him either. And what’s I don’t like about him? I’m not sure what it is. Maybe his acting and his smile. as same as I don’t like Lee so young too. I start watching this drama coz PSH, the romantic man that’s I had ever seen. from the iljimae I already in love with PSH, even he just the second lead at iljimae.

  98. 98 : opie Says:

I saw this drama from the mid-episode …. also nice and interesting … especially the conflict in the work career and marriage appear natural and I liked her when eye contact …..

  99. 99 : putri Says:

  100. 100 : KDaddict Says:

OK, just finished watching Family Honor, twice, in a roll. It’s fantastic. Strongly recommend it to anyone who likes family drama. The best family drama I’ve watched, hands down. And it isn’t becos of PSH, at all! A great script, ensemble cast, and directing!
The best way to combat withdrawal symptoms is with another KD. Guess, this one will be next.
PSH took my breath away in TPM. I got it back in FH. (I don’t like his char or the work of his stylist in it). Let’s see what happens w this one.

    @101, lia:
You can have it by downloading from dramaload.com:

  106. 106 : KDaddict Says:

    @charis, hi,
dramaload charges a monthly fee so that members can download. The FAQ sections doesn’t say how much. Do you know? Also, how long does it usually take to download 1 ep in your experience?

  107. 107 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 1:
OK, I found out a few things.
    1. I know why I’m not a KNJ fan. It has sth to do w that mole. Some ppl like moles; some ppl don’t.
I don’t object plastic surgery at all, as long as the results looks natural; her double eye lines don’t.
She has big beautiful eyes, but her small mouth can’t balance out those eyes, giving her face a top-heavy look.
    2. I think I know why JJH didn’t do well in this show.
His nose is way too hi, way too straight. No Asian man has a nose that looks like that. That nose dominates the whole face. Overkill.
Then there is that hair. I’ve no words for it!
He is not v expressive, is he? Some KDs don’t require that the guy be v expressive. An office romance kinda does.
His character is quite calculating. He only wants a woman who owns a 24 pieong apt, n is not a burden to him. One who can be a help at work doesn’t hurt. So neither the actor nor his char is winning any points here.
    3. Given this set up, I’m not surprised that KNJ’s char divorces easily. She is not in love w him either. She is just scared to become lonely like her boss, n grabs at the 1st decent looking guy. Then she loses her position at work. After consideration, she’ll find that the marriage is not a bargain, n calls it quits. No surprise there now.
But I like Ep 1, n plod on w interest.

  108. 108 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 2:
JJH’s face is not bad looking, but it has no character. I’m not the most devoted PSH fan, but must say that his appearance for 30 sec in ep 2, in the hotel n then riding the elevator at the company, makes more of an impression than JJH’s much longer screen time.
The lady boss’ fire red lipstick painted beyond the border of her lips is quite scary!
I was wondering when KNJ would quite her job. I’m glad it doesn’t take longer than ep 2. I’d slap that girl on my way out. Piff!

  109. 109 : charis Says:

Hi again! Membership fee you can find it here:

The time to download 1 ep very much depends on the size of the file and the speed of your internet connection. The quality of the vid is very related to the size of the file. They have medium, high and high definition quality. For 1 hour show med is 300 MB, high 450 to 650 MB and high definition +/-800MB.
For 1Mbps internet connection, it takes around 45 mins to download medium, 1-1 1/2 hour for high and 2 hours for high definition.

Here’s another link to where you can download:
He will not charge you for membership fee but you have to pay for server membership like megaupload, filesereve, hotfile,or filesonic.
He has vid with higher quality than dramaload has. With 720p quality you can see the pores at PSH face so he will not look like a pudding to you 😀
But the size of the files will be around 1.5 GB

Hope you’ll enjoy PSH in QoR as much as I did, hv a great wkend!

  110. 110 : charis Says:

@KDaddict 105: I have reply to yr question but the admin hold my comment because I have put 2 links in it. Pls wait

  111. 111 : KDaddict Says:

Thanks for the info. It’s great to know abt these avenues. Downloading takes a long time, but viewing is not a problem. Still, it’s good to have that option if DVDs are really unavailable anywhere. TQ. Happy Sunday!

  112. 112 : KDaddict Says:

KNJ was born in 1971; PSH in 1978, making KNJ 7 years older. But PSH is baby-faced, thus exaggerating the age difference.
In First Wives’ Club, Lee Sang Woo also plays a rich guy, son of company owner, who falls for an older divorcee w a child. She is supposed to be 38, he abt 30. But that wasn’t uncomfortable to watch. If anything, the audience was rooting for her to get the man, becos we feel sorry for her. She suffered underserving indignities fr her husband’s treatment. In QoR, there isn’t that jive.

I noticed that in this drama n in FH, PSH likes to wear his coats real tight, to accentuate his physique no doubt. But that is not classy. Not only does the crunched up top of the coat makes it look ill-fitting, it makes the man appear to be a gigolo. He looks plenty attractive without such tricks.

  113. 113 : KDaddict Says:

I saved that comment to my email for future reference. Thx for taking the trouble. 🙂

  114. 114 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 3:
How can these 2 be soooo thick?
How can a wife be unable to tell if her husband has gotten that long awaited promotion? He’s been out of reach all day, comes home late, looks like a deflated balloon, n she thinks he’s been promoted! And she was a career woman, a team-leader???
While the husband just can’t put 2 n 2 together when he sees his former private fr the army, dressed to the 9’s in the company toilet. The young man had told JJH that his father is a chaebol of one of the top 20 corps in the country. He knows the young man’s name; he must know his big boss’s name. They share the same surname, nitwit! But w him, I’m not too surprised, cos he did fail every damn exam he ever took! It must be a pain to go thru life being that dumb! Himdaleo!
This KD doesn’t have v good directing. The control on the pace of the movement is uneven, tho I’m only in ep 3.

  115. 115 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 4:
Why is the Jangmu nim with the blood red lipstick behaving like a rejected lesbian lover v-s-v KNJ? For Pete’s sake, it’s been 5 years already, n still she wouldn’t let go of her resentment (over KNJ’s marriage)!
And her husband is really a loser n a turkey. No wonder viewers can’t stand him.
As for JJH, I think he is suited for movies, where u only have to see him on screen for 90 mins., rather than over the duration of a full series, His is a face that gets more boring the more u look at it. Doesn’t have star quality.
But PSH is oh so cute as the misbehaving, immature chaebol son! Yippee!

  116. 116 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 5:
Isn’t she dressed way way too well for their income level? At the beginning of ep 4, she wears what looks like a checkered Burberry jacket. In ep 5, for the interview, she wears a black n white tweed vest w matching jacket that looks every inch like Designer fashion. How can she afford it as they are A family of 3 dependent on her husband’s lowly clerical income?
I don’t like PSH’s dyed hair. It makes him look like a doll.
She is boring as a housewife, not doing what she does best. He is a pathetic character, who has no clue what is going on around him. I look fwd to ep 6+ when she is back on the job, showing off her skills again.

  117. 117 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 6-7:
He doesn’t seem to care abt working or abt the company, but his step-mother and half-brother can’t wait to kick him out of Korea. So, just to show them, he’ll stay n work, with his subordinate KNJ. They’ll become teammates n collaborators. Let the fun begin.

  118. 118 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 8-9:
KNJ cares more abt look good herself than abt her char looking right. She is dressed like a samonim, not as a housewife reentering the job mkt. If she can afford such a killer wardrobe, she wouldn’t have to work as a lowly temp in the company that destroyed her earlier career.
He has joined the company as the team leader of a group of soon-to-be fired employees. But how dare JJH and Bloody-lips Jangmunim treating him so casually? He is a chaebol son after all.
JJH is being lured back to work under his ex-gf. Of course his wife would divorce him, since he is stealing her work for the opposition, n letting them use him as a weapon against her. Is he just retarded or is he betraying her? Either way, with such a husband, who needs an enemy?
PSH looks cute, like a naughty little schoolboy.

  119. 119 : seer Says:

this one is currently airing in my country. i read all, or most, of the comments here since they are only 5 pages now. quite a number of negative reviews. i note that the synopsis says tae hee is a daughter of a chaebol? so far, i didn’t see any mention nor indicator of her immense wealth – being a daughter of..? i also read that JJH won a Turkey award – @tc (91) ? – what is that, as it is not written above?
to me KNJ played her char quite well, and she is rightly casted – her small, kind of pouty lips could accentuate her sometimes cynic, arrogant char, also the hair cut, she changed it after marriage, which is actually not really an attractive hair cut which serves the purpose of being a housewife, married woman perhaps. of course in reality the chance of someone like Yong Shik (with his-PSH-looks, qualities and background) to fall deeply in love with someone like Tae Hee is almost nil. but “stories” are like that, perhaps meant to ignite hopes in the hearts of..where hopes are flickering dim-faintly… 🙂 and i think Joon So is just a weak char, like many weak char-s we see in our everyday realities…who can’t put his priorities straight, and altho the divorce decsion seems to be hasty, it can be considerably justified with breach of trust reason, she can no longer trust him and marriage w/o trust is.. well..- i think JJH also played his char quite good since ppl dislike him – he is not supposed to be a likable char here isn’t he? – a char who is easily swayed by others. haven’t seen him in other series tho, for comparison of his acting. just like Han Song Yi’s “outrageously” lipsticked lips ..haha..so ppl would first and foremost notice her lips? then her hair cut – black, straight, simple .. all in all, so far, it is still interesting to follow, still enjoy watching it.

  120. 120 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 31:
I cheated! I jumped ahead n watched the final ep. I often do this. Here, I was getting tired of Bloody Lips being so utterly vindictive with no good reason. Even after she explained it to KNJ I still had no clue why she’s behaving that way. And sure, there r losers in every drama, but a drama in which the male lead is a loser is rare, for the reason that it makes it difficult to maintain viewer interest. No wonder JJH got the Loser Award for his work in this! So I jumped 22 eps to the End!
Then I found out I don’t like the way the ending was written. So often they have a one year break before the end, when one or both (usually one) of the characters go away, to NYC, to Paris, to lick their wounds, to grow emotionally n professionally. They come back, n Voila! Problems solved. Magic begins. It just gets O-L-D, Man!
I’m real happy that he’s found his mother tho. Poor guy seemed like a lot puppy without her. I’m interested to find out how he and his mother hooks up, n how he comes to open 10 stores in a short time. Doesn’t seem like it is under his father’s chaebol, which makes it extra interesting. But the urgency is gone. No need to sleep up till 4am to work thru it. 🙂

  121. 121 : KDaddict Says:

That is, no need to stay up till 4am to work thru it.
    Ep 10:
JJH doesn’t seem interested in his wife at all. He looks lost and impatient when he is with her. He seems to be there beside her out of duty. Their marriage hasn’t been good since the day they returned fr their honeymoon, when she got demoted!
PSH is beginning to show some interest in KNJ, not romantic as yet, an interest nonetheless. He takes her aside when she cries, gives her his handkerchief, talks to her husband for her sake. I think he feels sorry for her after seeing him n that other woman kiss, plus he is fascinated by her tenacity at work, which inspired him.
If PSH was originally the 2nd lead, not meant to get the girl (KNJ), that means they had originally planned for us to sit thru 24 eps of KNJ being married to JJH, while PSH was to get the other girl? I can’t imagine a more horrid punishment for viewers than that! Shudders!

  122. 122 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 11:
His assistant is Dokko Jin’s assistant. : )
Don’t like the work of this stylist, esp. the way KNJ’s bangs are hair sprayed hard as steel across her forehead. PSH’s hair, while good-looking remains stiff in the wind.
PSH is so cute, wearing that orange jacket, riding up n down in the elevator, hoping to meet her. He is already interested in her, cos he tells his father it’s best to find a woman who can cook bean paste soup, like her.
I totally disagree that her divorce is sudden. I think it is a long time in the coming, given all the times he screws up, all the times he is out with White Fox that she hears abt; plus she has given him the chance to come clean. “This is your last chance: Tell me what’s betwn you, any little thing. If u lie now, don’t expect to stay with me anymore.” And still, he lies. I believe that he lies knowing that she’ll inevitable find out, n will kick him out, which is what he actually wants!
He married her on the rebound, n wants to go back to his 1st love, lah.

  123. 123 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 12-14:
Fantastic! They r divorced! From now on, I can skip the sections featuring Loser n his ex-gf. I couldn’t care less how they get back together, nor the scheme of Bloody Lips of sabotage. That’ll save a lot of viewing time!
Oh, our Pretty Boy is just so cute! A naughty little boy in love for the 1st time, and its w an ajumma, cos he doesn’t have a mother! PSH doesn’t look 32 at all.
Funny that Bloody Lips would decide to stick w The Big Boss’s wife, to help her ruin the son that is not hers. Wouldn’t it be more advantageous for her to be on the Boss’s side, to help him groom his son for succession? Then she’ll have two backers over 2 generations, instead of a backer who is only indirectly her superior.
It’ll be fun to watch him romance her n make a success of himself at work. I like the colleagues in their team too.

  124. 124 : Jennie Says:

@KDAddict Good to find you here. Just replied to ur comment on The Musical thread and lol coming here to fnd that you have practically commented epi by epi.. we can actually chat here. I am only on Ep 19 and as I said, it’s taking me a mighty long time to finish. Not that this drama is bad or anything, but it just doesn’t attract as much anticipation or excitement like some other dramas do. Maybe it has something to do wit KNJ and her mole like you said 😉 was never a fan of hers, or maybe it has something to do with the age difference – just cannot see PSH and her romantically involved or maybe it’s just the no chemistry factor for me. Your comment at 107 had me howling with laughter – since when did you start face reading? Actually, the mole doesn’t bother me much, she’s quite pretty but it’s the blob at the side of her head (her hairdo) that bothers me the most-too much gel and too heavy for me to take it! I hardly notice JJH’s nose but he’s such a weak character, I agree but I still don’t like how quickly she fell out of love with him. I agreed absolutely with what Yeo Jin said about Tae Hee being too strong and not helping Joon Soo to be a stronger and more self confident man. They were not compatible from the start and like you said, both had their reasons to marry each other. I don’t like the 5 years in between and a daughter who hardly gets any attention from either of them – don’t understand why this was necessary- only made her older for me!! I don’t like her wardrobe either. All the high powered jackets only make her look older! Btw, is Bloody Lips the same person as the one who played the ex-lover’s wife in Cruel Love, do you know? As for our dear unexpected hero, PSH, I am still not convinced to date how he became so popular in this drama. I don’t like his vanity, for one thing and the dancing at the karaoke session atually gave me the shudders – too much attention being given to his physique and looks! (PSH fans-don’t start bashing me for this.Just my opinion ☻♥♥♥♥♥♥☻)
Wow, you sure are fast. My copy of FH is still sitting pretty there on my table with plastic wraps and all and you have already finished watching. Given the current drag, should I just abandone ship and start on FH?

  125. 125 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 11-20:
This series has taught me a few things:
    Don’t wear huge earrings;
don’t wear blood red lipstick; n
don’t get a dramatic bob cut,
unless u want to scare the hell out of ppl! The stylist has done that bit right.
KNJ says Bloody Lips behaves that way becos she is afraid of KNJ as a competitor. PSH says the same she is afraid of him. So, everyone who has potential is a competitor, n must be decimated?! But it is looking like PSH’s brother’s lover. Or r they just in cahoots?
1st she prevent the models fr appearing for the opposite team; then she hides the spokesperson for their slimming plan. Next, they’ll use PSH’s mother against him. I want to see how he connects w his mother.
PSH is so funny when he makes eye contact w his secretary urging him to sing his praises. So childish, so endearing!
JJH was fine in Marrying the Mafia (aka My wife is a mafia Boss). He played a timid fool to her overbearing ways. He was also fine in IRIS (or was it Athena), as one of the Special Agents, a silent partner almost. Too bad he has to play against PSH, whose charisma meter goes thru the roof compared to his. An unfortunate bit of casting for JJH!

  126. 126 : KDaddict Says:

    @Jennie, Hi,
I was wondering where u disappeared to the last couple weeks!
FH is really Fantastic! You’ll love it.
QoR has many shortcomings. As far as I’m concerned, it’s not worth watching ep by ep. OK, I did the first 11, so as not to miss anything fundamental. From there, after the divorce, it goes real fast. I ff a lot n skipped some eps, where Bloody Lips schemes to sabotage the other team, n Turkey meets w ex-gf.
Dancing at the karaoke session? What karaoke session? Pls tell me which ep that’s in! I missed it!
    Re PSH:
Like we said on the TPM thread, after seeing that vid that charis dug up, it is clear that his attention to his looks, while understandable for sb in his profession, can be off putting for regular folks like us. That tendency shows thru fr time to time, even in his dramas, e.g. in his preference for super tight fitting coats, his myriad scarfs, etc. Aside fr that, I must say he is the only reason for watching this show, for those of us not into KNJ. He is cute as a puppy, playing sb who is childish, hungry for love, misbehaving. I’m loving it.
Abandon it? No lah! You did the hard part. From here, it is all uphill: romancing (unless their obvious age difference grates on u, but bear in mind that he has no mother, so consider it an Oedipal complex), savvy business dealings, finding out abt his mother’s past, knocking Bloody Lips fr her perch! It’s payback time, my buddy!
It’s not that KNJ is not pretty. Hers just not the kind I appreciate. It’s not that her clothes r bad, but I don’t know what cloes would make her look younger!? It just bugs me that they don’t fit the role of sb in a struggling clerical position! All those Burberry coats! Be real!
Cruel Love? Wasn’t on my radar.

  127. 127 : KDaddict Says:

I found it. I went back to Ep 16, which I skipped, n there it is! The dancing n karaoke session.
Several months ago, I saw a vid of Kang Ji Hwan performing a v similar dance, down to the black tee, n him ripping it at the end. Kang was also wearing glasses, only his had blinking lights! My goodness, So Kitsch. The dance is too blatant, too deliberate, but I think it’s pretty much industry std.
There is a male strip tease Club called Chippendale’s in SFO n LA. They try to inject a sense of humor into their routines, while the women hoot n whistle. We can also view these dances in that spirit.
In all other scenes, PSH looks so innocent. There r many shots when he brings to my mind a young Harry Potter (Parts 1-4), like a deer caught in the headlights. I find him utterly adorable. Don’t let the dance routine spoil the rest of his performance for u.
Ep 20 will belt your heart. Watch it n tell me you don’t want to give him a hug.

  128. 128 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 20:
Their business plan is finally taking shape. For real this time. KNJ is back at work. All the team members r on board. They’ve fighting spirit. That’s something the audience can get behind.
This is my favorite ep so far. He is so fragile, so vulnerable. His brother knows exactly where his soft spot is, n hits it with mercilessly. Does our poor guy think that his brother would help him find his mother, n not suspect that it is just a ploy to get him out of the country? He is not a younger brother, just a guy who will get a share of the family inheritance!
Christmas Eve, lighted Christmas tress, poinsettias, falling snow, boy n girl wearing festive red, boy kisses girl under a snowy sky! Ahhhh…….
    Absolutely L-O-V-E it!

@charis Thank you so much for thinking of me and for the link. Heehee I must have been driving you guys nuts with my constant adoration for Micky, to the point that you remember me when you see Micky!! I have seen the pics earlier and if you are interested, you can find more super pics on JYJ3 website. Thank you again.

  132. 132 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 21:
I think the truly exciting part of this show is in ep 21+, when his brother would stop at nothing to drive him out of the country, to the extent of hurting his mom, when he finds out abt the scheming, when he fights back, to grow his business with his team, to try to win KNJ’s love. He is a 2n generation chaebol w a birth secret who finds his mission in life. How can we not root for him?
KNJ has a huge collection of earrings. Some r real diamonds, some r not. Just as I don’t desire her wardrobe, I don’t desire her jewelry either. I love the jewelry collection of the rich mother in Sparking aka Shining.
I love the cop. He is fresh n cool. That stupid woman should forget the Loser n start anew w the cop. He looks just like my hi school puppy love. Keke.
I’ve found my very favorite PSH look. It is the one with the purple towel tied into 2 buns on the sides of his head in the Jim Chi Ban. So adorable. Betwn this look n the one in TPM where he exposes his pecs, I can’t tell which one I like better. OK, it’s the latter!
    Sent u an email.

@Jennie131: The last time we put comments was in TPM thread. I felt like I join a class and you gals are all my classmates 🙂
I remember liebelorelai has recommended watching Family Honor and I did enjoy it so very much, thanks to her. And thanks to TC who has shared the info re Family Honor DVD from pohkim.net

  134. 134 : Jennie Says:

@KDAddict Yep, Ep 21 is the turning point. We see more of PSH’s other side and we ca’t help but root for him. But up to this stage, I can’t get myself to side with KNJ. I think she’s as bossy as ever, over confident, over zealous and too self righteous. Just because she has seen ex and ex girlfriend going to the apartment once, she draws her own conclusions and everybody is wrong and nobody can have an opinion but her and only she is right. That’s how I see her and sorry, I don’t like her one bit. How one can define her as the protagonist is beyond me. If anyone tells me she’s like that becos she’s got principles, I’d say not that she has principles but she’s just too stubborn and too full of herself. She thinks the world cannot do without her. Just look at how quick she reported the other team’s problems without giving them a chance to find a solution. Yes, it’s only a drama but a drama should have a heroine who is believable and whom we can look up to. So sorry this character KNJ is out for me. So now, I shall only continue becos I want to watch PSH and his dance of courtship. I shall turn a blind eye to all her faults as the heroine and imagine Princess Lee Se Ryung in her place, a heroine who does not have any flaw at all 🙂

  135. 135 : Jennie Says:

@charis Yes, I miss the “classes” in TPM. It has been so quiet these days. I bought a copy of “Family Honor” too but I have yet to watch it but after chatting with KDAddict yesterday, I took a peek of the 1st episode and it looked good. One reason I’ve delayed watching is I’m not a fan of Yoon Jung Hee. I saw her in Dear Heaven and I practically stopped watching any drama with her in it but after yesterday’s peek of her, she looked very much better and I hope my opinion of her will change after FH!Haha, just stopped by at the FH thread for the very first time and all I see is KDAddict’s name 🙂

  136. 136 : KDaddict Says:

KNJ n her char here do zilch for me! All these KDs want to show that the heroine is a capable, can-do person who will triumph over all adversities. The exaggeration makes it insufferable. Recall GHS’s Jan Geum Di in BoF. These heroines r like the Ever Ready Bunny, they take a licking, n go on ticking, to the pt u want to yell, Enough already! KNJ’s char is in that school of writing.
Her tug-of-war w PSH bothers me. If a guy like PSH’s char wants her, who is she to play hard to get, huh? Just grab him, n talk later!
But what I really can’t stand is the relationship between Turkey n White Fox. I want to strangle them, not becos they r evil but becos they r unlikeable dramatic chars. He’s her 1st love, but she ditched him for (a rich guy who buys her) designer handbags. Now 5 yrs n a daughter later, she wants him back. While all he does is waver betwn the 2 women. As a person w self respect, I’d run in the other direction if I was him!
Yoon JH’s char in Dear Heaven is a weak damsel in distress, a Cinderella. She is much better, n prettier in FH. Just that to do all she does in FH, u need 72 hrs a day or more!

  137. 137 : KDaddict Says:

    @Jennie, Hey,
It’s KDaddict with a small “a”. The one w a big “A” is someone else!
    What is DKaddict?

  138. 138 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 22-23:
Thoroughly enjoyable, their trip to Kang Won Do in the snow, which brings them closer. And I love that his mother is trying to approach him.
    Ep 24-25:
Earnest young man blinded by love, overlooks the trap set by calculating wicked witch. All he cares abt is to prevent KNJ from leaving his team. He forgets that Bloody Lips transfers her for a reason: to make him betray his feeling for her, for all to see, precisely what he is doing, so that she can destroy him w that scandal.
KNJ being older n wiser, should tell him to beware of the minefield that’s been set for him, instead of trying to handle it alone, which only serves to infuriate him!

  139. 139 : KDaddict Says:

KNJ is supposed to be a very seasoned, accomplished actress. Yet in all objectivity, I find her delivery of her lines to be lacking in range and variation. If u view 6, 7 + eps a day like I’m doing, you’ll find that she speaks quickly, forcefully n loudly throughout. That speaking style is used to project a wide range of emotions, like urgency, anger, seriousness, frustration, hurt, determination, eagerness, appreciation, etc. She speaks the same way, just that some times she has a smile on her face, some times she doesn’t, which is really curious. Isn’t line delivery supposed to be different for happy vs unhappy occasions?
This hair stylist should be put in jail for turning perfectly good looking men into ajummas (JJH in ep 26), giving KNJ, her doll-like teammate, n PSH’s mother helmet hair.
The make-up artist gives KNJ’s already big eyes hard upper and lower eye-lines, such that she looks like a Martian wearing a wig– a pretty Martian, with huge eyes, pointed chin n small mouth.
    Ep 26-27:
are a bit frustrating to watch becos of the cont. misunderstand betwn KNJ n PSH. She agrees to leave their team in order to protect him, n he is too blind to realize it. The bright spot, so moving, is still the contact betwn mother n son.

  140. 140 : tc Says:

Came to this site to check out whether any TPM lovers started on this drama and saw your comments. Like you, I was not drawn to KNJ but since I dislike Bloody Lips and White Fox more as you aptly named them, I sided for KNJ’s character in this drama.

Yes, the reunion scene between PSH and his mum was so moving and tastefully done. His crying scenes were so realistic and I felt so bad for him that I just want him to get KNJ and be happy.

  141. 141 : Winya Says:

Saya menyukai isi cerita dan para pemainnya. Ingin berkenalan dgn Park Shin Ho

  142. 142 : KDaddict Says:

Ep 26 is such a pain in the ass. Yes, every melodrama has the hero or heroine playing Nobel Idiot, so I do understand KNJ behaving that way to protect him. But this is bad writing at its worst, not only for its exaggeration n overkill, but for exaggeration n overkill that don’t work. She could protect him by willingly going along w the transfer, without being way out mean to him. The more harsh she is, the more he hurts, n does irrational things, which Bloody Lips can use against him! So isn’t she actually helping BL’s case instead of short-circuiting it?
The 1st 23 mins (in front of the team) and last 7 mins (in front of the elevator) of this ep really make me question KNJ’s acting ability. I mean, she must have done a lot of things right in order to be the big name that she is, but judging fr her acting in these scenes, I’ve to say it is shitty acting that does not resonate with the viewer, at least not this one. You guys, tc, Jennie, charis, take a look n tell me if I am wrong.
I’m actually pretty neutral to KNJ’s char in this show. I don’t mind her, but I don’t feel for her either. I think that aptly shows the failure of both writer n actress: becos neither the characterization n the acting draws me in. To me, she is just there, sb for PSH’s acting to bounce off of; a necessary cardboard cutout, no more.

But isn’t he Oh sooo cute? Why does he make me think of a young Harry Potter? That makes no sense even to myself. To my eyes, he is more cute than sexy in this particular show overall. But I love it!

  143. 143 : Jennie Says:

Hi there tc, how r u? KDaddict, sorry about the spelling of name, didn’t realise there’s another person with unique name such as yours. I’ve seen my double with small j a couple of times but then, mine is common, yours is not. Wow, are you some kind of chaebol or an ahgassi/ahjumma who doesn’t have to work? I ask because you are watching this drama at the speed of lightning. I am only at Ep 23, and even that is in between doing both my paid and no pay jobs! How I wish I can sit there and do nothing but watch dramas all day long!
Yes, you have nailed it. I now know why I don’t like KNJ-because of her loudness and expressionless and emotionless face of hers. Half the time she’s like a screeching banshee to me!! PSH, on the other hand is becoming more likeable and like in TPM, I like this serious side of him. In this kind of character, he forgets about his looks and is less self-conscious and this is when his acting is the best. Ohhh, he looked cute with the two towelled buns, didn’t he? For me he was most desirable when he cried in his sleep in the car!
Yes, and I really like the cop too – for his witty dialogues and that oozing charm of his. Why can’t we have cops like that in real life? As for Turkey, here’s another no-expression one! Most times he’s like a zombie or still sound asleep or a sign on his face that reads “I am without a brain, that’s why I look like this”. Actually White Fox isn’t all that bad lah! She was only mean in the beginning and she’s only a woman in love. I pity her. Two persons I hate the most are naturally Bloody Lips and the brother. I wanna slap the brother each time he opens his mouth! I have less site visits today, so I am determined to finish this drama today. See you later, I hope.

  144. 144 : Jennie Says:

@KDaddict Oh my, my “see you later” was like instantaneous, I pressed “submit comment” and your comment appeared!!

  145. 145 : KDaddict Says:

Has anyone watched Pasta? Is it any good? I love Gong Hyo Jin, but don’t care for that guy, He appeared in Coffee Prince as the 2nd lead.
The reason I don’t like White Fox is becos of her char in Coffee Prince too. She was the 2nd fe lead, n to me, she was a giant pain of a brat. I was already biased vs her after Coffee Pr, n here, I don’t agree w the rationale of her char, so there.
What abt Soulmate? Does anyone recommend it?
What abt Joseon X-files or Rain’s Fugitive Plan B?
U n I were both typing at the same time, so the comments appear simultaneously.
Where there is a will, there is a way! If u eat brkft, lunch n dinner in frt of PC, sit there fr 6pm to whatever time u can keep your eyes open, fast fwd n skip sm dragging eps, u can finish a lot in a day! ;D

  146. 146 : KDaddict Says:

You mentioned b4 that you had watched some eps of KBD Drama Special. Where did u find those? If u don’t want to talk abt them in public, would u pls send it to my email: [email protected]

  147. 147 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 28:
The minute BL got the surveillance disk fr Turkey, she knows it is the doings of Wei Jang nim, n knows how to play ball. Stupid PSH is in the dark for 3 eps, having no bloody idea how the game is played. That alone proves that he is too green, too immature to be the next Sa Jang nim. Tho he doesn’t have to be as crooked as BL, he is no match for BL n his brother. So he really doesn’t qualify.
He says he doesn’t care what he loses, as long as he doesn’t lose KNJ. If he gets kicked out of the company n Korea, then he has to live the life of a vagabond, n KNJ with him. A smart man would want to do better.
    Ep 29:
Every time a KD uses a doctor to do the villain’s dirty work, it makes me so mad. Korean Doctors’ Association should rise up in arms n sue these bastard writers for insulting their professional integrity. The Hippo oath of “Do no harm” in treatment certainly extends to the area of “Do not participate in evil schemes against patients”. Gee Whiz!
And I hate KNJ for saying all those hurtful things to him time n again. If u love sb, they don’t treat them w so much deceit, even if it is meant for their own good! Instead of hurting them so much that hopefully they’ll come to their senses, you should level w them, n tell them nicely!
I think PSH is cute as a belly button. I just wish his hair had not had its life sprayed out of it!

  148. 148 : Jennie Says:

@KDaddict (146) I saw them on KBS on TV. There are two sites where you can download but some are without subtitles. If you are familiar with D-addicts, there are some newer titles plus eng subs. Other than that, you can also find them on YT and Dailymotion, if you know the titles but most are without subs. The links are:

I have tried the first one but it takes more than an hour per episode for free downloads, so I gave up downloading eventually. The second is a bit complicated (like D-addicts) unless you are computer savvy. Good luck ♥♥♥

  149. 149 : Jennie Says:

I like three men in this drama. First, naturally is PSH. He looks really good and love him in all those winter clothing (in fact all the men looked good in their winter clothes) and his acting is flawless. I understand now why they had to let him win the girl in the end. Without him, this drama would not have been so popular. The second man is the cop. Wow, I have never heard another Korean actor who speaks English so well in a Kdrama other than my Micky in Miss Ripley of course. His “I’d do anything for you, you know that” had me swooning away and my, it wasn’t just one line. Much later, he said, “Well, from now on, when you want to eat, you can call me.” Oh I will, I will, if you continue in that sexy tone of yours!! The third is the assistant. Altho he is the stereotype of the ever faihtful buddy/assistant of the hero, he was a lovable character! Ok, back to watching my last two eps!

  150. 150 : KDaddict Says:

    Ep 30-31:
OK, I take back what I said earlier abt KDs giving a 1 or 2 year hiatus to the OTP just before the end being OLD. This is one time when a year long separation actually makes sense. Things are all in a mess at the company becos of the scandal manufactured by BL n his brother. She is in fact a divorcee. They twisted the facts n said KNJ had an adulterous relationship w PSH that led to her divorce. That is immoral n unacceptable behavior to the board of directors.
So to let things calm down, she lets him think that she has left for the U.S. w her ex-husband. Meanwhile, he gets his own company off the ground. That is a smart move, cos you’ve to have a resume to impress the board b4 they’d vote u in. When they r really believe in his ability, they wouldn’t care abt his private life. A year later, she returns. Turkey returns, to remarry White Fox. The one thing that Turkey has done right is to tell PSH abt this, so that he can go and reconcile w her. End of story.
    I’ve a Qn:
In ep 29, his mother was transferred to a sanitarium by his step-mom, while leaving behind a letter refusing to see PSH again. Next thing we knew, mother n son r living together happily in the subs. Did they just expect us to connect the dots or did I miss sth while I fast fwd?
Besides PSH, First Wives Club is a much better show, in which a chaebol son falls for an older divorcee w a child. It has a better script, a much better cast, and more even acting. As we all know, this one QoR, is all abt PSH. I’m not complaining.
I have the QoHW becos I like Yoon Sang Hyun, but after watching KNJ in this, I don’t think I can sit thru another KD of hers, not in this decade anyway.

  151. 151 : KDaddict Says:

You have KBS on TV in SG? Thanks for the links. I’ll try them.
I’m so glad you now see PSH’s charms in this drama. This thing would have been a dud without him!
What next? You seen any of these?
Pasta? Soulmate? Joseon X-files? Dong Yi?

  152. 152 : Jennie Says:

@KDaddict Yes, we have KBS on cable. I have only seen Dong Yi among the four you mentioned. DY is very similar to Yi San except I like the latter much much more. Have you seen Yi San?In terms of storyline, cast, romance and ost, Yi San wins hands down! Next? I’m going to watch FH.
As for QoR, the heroes of the story to me is Fox girl for saving the day and Mr Mok for the lessons in life and maybe even Bloody Lips too for lessons on how not to live your life. The ideal ending for me is Tae Hee goes back to her husband, Foxy girl marries the cop (I was actually cheering for these two towards the end but alas!) and our hero carrying on his life as a successful CEO and eventually marries a girl more suited for him-it would be perfect if they could get a famous and beautiful star to do a cameo whom he meets and falls in love in the end!

  153. 153 : tc Says:

@Jennie: I’m fine and switched over to Cdrama after reading the good review on Bu Bu Jing Xin by Ockoala. Although it was a good but sad drama, somehow I still prefer KDramas particularly the emotional scenes. Read your comments about the 3 guys and share the same view. Do you know of any other subsequent drama where the cop has a role?

@KDaddict: I had watched Pasta and Dong Yi. Pasta is ok and you should watch the drama since you like GHJ. Like you, I do not like the male lead since I also watched Coffee Prince first but his acting was better in Pasta. However, plot is pretty simple and bulk of time the drama was filmed just at the restaurant which can be boring at times. if you are a pasta lover, you will like this drama as it focus on cooking different types of pasta.

As for Dong Yi , it is the same genre with Jewel in the Palace. I like the earlier episodes but it really get draggy towards the end as the drama was extended to 60 episodes due to the high rating. Can’t beat TPM in terms of OTPs, romance and OST. Try it if you like sageuk with focus on palace tussle.

  154. 154 : KDaddict Says:

    @tc and Jennie,
Did you guys see my comment #150 on p.6? I’ve a Qn in there that I hope you can answer.

How can 2 leads, 2 big names (JJH n KNJ) have such bad acting, is what puzzles me?? In contrast, Bloody Lips is a good actress. She scares the hell out of me. The male sec is not particularly handsome, but is endearing to watch, in Best Love as Dokko Jin’s asst as well. Some performers just draw u in. I see no vibe betwn PSH n KNJ either, but guess viewers would have stormed the tv station if PSH didn’t get the girl. 🙂
How does White Fox save the day? By taking JJH off the table?

TQ for info on Dong Yi, Pasta. Never heard of San Yi or BoBo Jing Xin. Cdrama is too realistic for me, most of them anyway; there is not enough eye candies n fashion to die for. (Strangely, I don’t yearn for the fashion in QoR, as worn by KNJ or White Fox). But I really enjoyed their palace intrigue dramas of the Qing dynasty, so twisted n complicated, n the bunch of Jin Yong Swordsmen dramas directed by what’s his name now, Yang sb. 1 of them is called Tien Lung 8 Bo, n features a v macho Wu Qun. Another one is The Eagle Lovers w a v young n beautiful actress who is now the face of many cosmetics n skincare products in China, Liu Yi Fai. But those dramas r old now. I haven’t fallen in love w another Cdrama since.

  155. 155 : Jennie Says:

@KDaddict Both KNJ & JJH are big stars in Korea, at least JJH is, as far as I know. I have seen him in two big dramas ie Last Scandal and Princess Lulu, both of which bored me to death but loved to death by lots of fans. Never liked his looks nor his acting. As for KNJ, this is the first time I’ve seen her act. I have seen her on tv a couple of times but only because she was together with hubby (her husband is that older guy in Miss Ripley and Iris). Come to think of it, both husband and JJH were in Iris together! Back to KNJ, I only know about her and her hubby cos they always portray image of a happy couple/ family and variety programs like to talk about them n blah blah. Her acting skills for me from this drama? Yikes! You know how I feel about her!
How did White Fox save the day? Well she was smart enuf to record Bloody Lips’ corruption and indirectly, forced Bloody Lips to give up her quest to become CEO. KNJ confronting Bloody Lips with the records doesn’t make her the heroine in my book, for without it, she would not have gotten anywhere!
My dear, it’s Yi San not San Yi. The other title is King Jeong Jo, I think. The leads are Lee Seo Jin (guy in Lovers, Phoenix, Damo, Freeze etc) and Han Ji Min (Cain n Abel, Seoul Scandal). It’s a beautiful love story based in the Joseon period. This is the story of the Crown Prince whose father was killed by the king himself and whose story has been mentioned many times in kdrama sagueks like Warrior BDS n Painter In the Wind. Great cast, great ost, great romance, great cinematography and great script. Give it a go when you have time. I’d recommend this over Dong Yi if you are only choosing one to watch.
@tc I don’t think I’ve ever watched a Chinese drama, meaning one from China, that is, unless you count Three Kingdoms as one. I saw Three Kingdoms and it almost bored me to death. Too much historical facts, too much computer graphics, too many boring old men and romance is almost zero. Not my cup of tea though my better half liked it, probably because of all the macho scenes and serious strategy talks! I have watched a few popular Taiwanese dramas but they do not have the class and content found in Kdramas. I have not watched one for quite some time now. I still follow Jdrama and HK dramas but not as much as Kdrama.

  156. 156 : Jennie Says:

@tc I did some research on the cop but nothing came up much. His name is Yang Jin Woo and he has acted in a few dramas and movies which I am not familiar with except movie My Tutor Friend 2. His latest project is KBS drama, TV Cultura Centre-Blazing Sonata” which will be released in Nov, so look out for it! His English is so good cos he has a degree from Queensland Uni. of Technology.

    @KDaddict, tc n charis
Thought I’d share a great song from my favourite band with you all in appreciation for making my watching of QoR more fun and less lonely. So , thanks and be sure to watch ♥ ♥ ♥

There are better quality videos with this song but this is the best I can find that comes with Eng-subs. Thought the song would be even better if you understand the lyrics too.

  157. 157 : KDaddict Says:

Like I said, JJH nKNJ r both big stars; that’s why their lousy acting takes me by surprise. KNJ’s hubby KSW is many ppl’s fav ajussi. Tho they like to present happy front, they r so plagued by scandal it’s ridiculous. I really don’t envy celebrity!
I completely missed what White Fox did to save the day! That tells u how closely I was watching. Haha. I skipped that ep n some others. Now u know why I finished it so quickly.
Thanks for the song. It’s lovely.
Ah, Yi San. Yes, sb else recommended it to me as well, a middle aged Korean guy. I’ll try it.

The actor who plays the cop, Yang Jin Woo, went to Australia for univ, but his spoken English is better than many other Korean actors who have overseas experience, isn’t it?
As for his work, I’ve seen My Tutor Friend 2, but don’t remember what he did in it, just that when I saw his face in QoR, I know I’ve seen it b4. He also has a 1-ep drama called We Teach Love. You can watch it on viki. Here’s the link:

Now, time for me to rest those tired eyes, n get my butt off the chair!!!

  158. 158 : charis Says:

@Jennie156: Thank you for the link, I tried to watch it but it took like forever to play, maybe I’ll try again tomorrow.
Here’s the link to Jdrama that I like, kind of old, but quite funny and entertaining: http://www.mysoju.com/japanese-drama/love-generation/

  159. 159 : Jennie Says:

@charis Thanks for the link for jdrama. I wil check it out now. Meanwhile, the problem with Dailymotion is that it takes a couple of minutes (2/3 max) to load but it gets better after that.

  160. 160 : tc Says:

Sorry I missed out yr question on how PSH found his mum the second time. We had to connect the dot ourselves. I assumed that it was PSH’s dad that brought them together again based on the separate conversation between PSH with his parents in the last ep that indicated that both parents had been keeping in touch.

Yes PSH was super cute and adorable here and when you mentioned that he reminded you of young Harry Porter at times, I remembered that he actually wore Harry Potter spectacles for the 2010 MBC awards ! How ironic that both JJH and KNJ actually won the top male and female excellence awards whilst MBC only awarded PSH the Male Excellence award! JJH however really deserved the Loser/Turkey award as you aptly called him in this drama which of course was never publicized!

  161. 161 : tc Says:

Thanks for the info on the cop. I was actually hoping to see him in another romantic drama.

Yes, Yi San is better than Dong Yi but have to warn KDaddict that it is a very long drama 118 eps! I think it was the second longest drama I had ever watched after Cruel Temptation!

Same here, find Tdramas too cheesy and Cdramas too boring and dry.

  162. 162 : KDaddict Says:

Thank u for clearing up that puzzle for me. I skipped so much that I missed half the show! Basically I ff whenever I saw Turkey, his ex-gf, n Bloody Lips. 🙂
Re Yi San: 118 eps! Goodness gracious! I should have followed it when it was showing on TV, but it didn’t look exciting then. I guess by that I mean “the male lead” didn’t look exciting! 😉
I also saw PSH wearing Harry Potter glasses and a black fur cape to the 2010 MBC award ceremony. That look didn’t do anything for me. But it’s the full head shots of him looking sad n lonely in QoR, the same startled look in the eyes, that reminded me of HP.
JJH n KNJ got those awards becos of their standing in the industry. More lousy acting fr leads I haven’t seen! PSH was a relative newcomer, so he got a lesser award. That won’t happen after TPM!

What does “Bo Bo Jing Xin” mean? Steps steps with spirit?

  163. 163 : tc Says:

Not sure but the drama is known as Startling with each step in English. Don’t think it will be your cup of tea with all the guys spotting pony tails and bald in front ala Chin dynasty style and less display of romantic scenes.

In terms of romantic sageuk, have you watched Song of Prince/Ballad of Seo Dong? That would have been a better drama and shorter version 55 eps)with Jo Hyun Jae as main star.

Yes, looking forward to KBC 2011 Awards night and hoping that TPM and its main casts can grab some major awards and we can go over to TPM thread to chat and congratulate the cast.

  164. 164 : Jennie Says:

@tc @ KDaddict Good morning You guys are such early birds n on a Sat morning too. I am still lazing in bed. Yi San has only 77 eps and not 118, at least on my side. And oh yes, do watch Ballad of Seodongyo. It’s one of my favorites n I absolutely love it. I always get people to watch this. It’s the best from Jo Hyun Jae yet n he was very attractive here. I got my sis who hates sagueks to watch n in the end, she loves LBY now! I saw this at least 4 times, fast forward n rewinding to watch my favorite parts n the two songs, Flower Hue n Hae Mil r still my favorites.

  165. 165 : tc Says:

I rechecked back my Yi San DVDs and there are 118 eps but with 40mins each instead of full 1 hour which works out to be about 78 full hour eps! I think that is still way too long for our dear KDaddict who mentioned earlier that she prefers mini series and only watched FH with 54 eps as an exception!

What is the current drama both of you are watching so that we can continue chatting? Admin may stop our chatting here since we are not focusing on QOR anymore!

  166. 166 : KDaddict Says:

    Dear tc,
I’ve such an addictive tendency when it comes to KDs (N ONLY KDs; I’m a very rational person otherwise), in that I need to rush to finish a series once I start it. Long series are hard on me as I can only stay up till 4am for so many nites in a row!
I ‘ve tried to find Ballad of Seodong, but without success so far. Older shows r harder to locate. It may take a while. Jennie, What is LBY in #164?
Re Yi San being 118 eps on your DVD set: My Da Jang Geum was also sold as 70 eps of 40 mins @. My friend’s was 80 eps! Since they price the set acc to # of eps, they can sell them for more $ that way. Not an unusual trick in the trade.
I haven’t decided what to watch next. My eyes n my sanity need a break after FH + QoR. Currently I’m watching Flower Boy Ramyun Shop n HiKick3. You can find me on those threads. We can keep each other abreast of our viewing, n you have my email.
There is something I’d like to share with both of you:
I liked Song Joong Ki in SKKS, but it didn’t go beyond that. Recently, while watching the 1st 4 eps of TreewDR, I am absolutely shocked by his acting ability. I stopped watching it as soon as the young king grew up. Here is a series of stills that show good acting from a relative newbie, which puts to shame the pair of leads in QoR.

  167. 167 : Jennie Says:

@KDaddict I started watching DeepRooted Tree last week after reading the good reviews and ratings. Yes, SJK was fantastic. He handled the role with flair and aplomb, as if he was born to play the role, something which I didn’t think he was capable of, even when he was successful in SKKS. Aren’t you going to continue watching? I know it’s rather a drastic change after SJK’s brilliant performance but the story is still good. Oh yes, the fact that the leads can win awards for their acting skills in QoR is a joke as none of them come near or can be compared to this young man, so imagine the number of awards he will get for sure for this short but fantastic performance.
LBY stands for Lee Bo Young who plays the leading lady in Song of the Prince.

  168. 168 : KDaddict Says:

thunder took the works out of my mouth calling it the “breakout performance of the year” and “floored by Song Joong Ki”. Without his presence, DRT doesn’t interest me cos it’s seems to be another “wronged in my youth, so I’ll grow up to take revenge” sort of saguek. I’ve liked Jang Hyuk for a long time, but lately his pointy mouth sticks out on screen, n affects my view of him somehow. And then, while watching, I keep missing SJK!
BTW, if u know where I can Buy or watch Ballard of Seodong online, let me know. Meanwhile, I’ll keep searching.
How do u find the time to follow kpop, follow their performance on youtube, and watch KDs old n new? U say I sit still; seems like u do as much if not more, ey? 🙂

  169. 169 : KDaddict Says:

Oops, that’s thundie, of course, not thunder. This newest iMac automatically corrects what it regards to be a typo into the closest correct spelling known to the machine! What a pain!

  170. 170 : KDaddict Says:

    @Jennie, @tc,
Earlier on we talked abt the most popular guys in KD. I looked up at the top of the page on Actor’s List, and there are all are across the top:
Jang Gun Suk, Kim Hyun Joong, Lee Min Ho, Hyun Bin n PSH. The 1st 2 are idol stars fr their singing careers; the 3rd has become an instant idol star fr being the leader of F4. Only Hyun Bin and PSH have earned their popularity fr many years of acting, but lag behind the other 3 in popularity. Rain is nowhere to be seen here.

  171. 171 : Jennie Says:

@KDaddict Out of the 5 names you mentioned, my top is Hyun Bin and at the bottom is Kim Hyun Joong. In MY opinion KHJ can’t sing and act and he’s not even good looking! Rain is way better than JGS and KHJ both in singing and acting. Btw, You asked abt Fugitive Plan B much earlier. It’s pretty good actually except that I was cheering more for Daniel Henney in the drama. He was so romantic and goodlooking! Lots of action too!
You can watch Ballad of Seodong here on this website. To purchase, I think it’s available in YesAsia and Amazon. If you r anywhere near SG or MY, you can get a copy at the shops. If you want to have a preview, lots of mvs are available on YT, just type either the title or JHJ’s name n you’ll see lots of videos there. I just watched some of them and ahhh, it made me want to dig up the video again!
Like you said, where there’s will, there’s always a way and also time management. I have been watching Kdramas for many years now and it’s like an addiction to me tho I have become more selective now. I am in retail with a friend. I just help out by going one plc to another and if I am on the train or car, I’ve got time for mvs n cds. If I am at the shops, I have an hour or two to kill for new KDs and when I’m home, I have dvds for older KDs (if any, otherwise more new KDs). That’s why I cannot do without my phone and ipad esp when I am on the road! I just told a friend recently that I have abt 800 songs and 120 mvs at any one time! That’s a confession from the life of a KD fan, my friend 😀

    @[email protected]

Out of the 5 names that KDaddict mentioned, I agree with Jennie that only Hyun Bin and PSH deserve to be on the top list as they have acting chops and charms whilst the other 3 become famous more because of their looks although I am not drawn to them. I liked KHJ in BOF, in fact more than LMH but lately I do not like his looks at all after the cosmetic change to his face.

So ironic that I share the same view with KDaddict about Jang Hyuk. I also do not like Jang Hyuk’s recent appearance especially his pointed mouth and had also stopped watching TDR after the exit of SJK. He was really good in that drama and I lost interest immediately after his last ep.

Jennie, now I remember about LBY. She was the lead actress in Queen of the Game which you also recommended and the long time girlfriend of Ji Sung, right?

  176. 176 : KDaddict Says:

It was I who said (#170) Hyun Bin n PSH got popular from their acting. And these are the guys I like.
The other day at the mall, I saw a life sized cardboard figure of Hyn Bin ssi outside the Laneige Store. I ran towards it, n was surprised at how moved by it I was. I mean I had never seen him at abt my height up close! It was all I could do to stop myself from carrying it home! I went inside n bought whatever concoction he was holding in his hand. I think it was an overnight mask. Whatever!

What Jennie said (#171) was that KHJ couldn’t sing nor act. I walked by the faceshop n there he was. I stood in front of his figure for a couple mins. As u know, Bae Yong Joon was their spokesman previously. KHJ doesn’t have features that resemble BYJ, but sth abt his cardboard figure looks eerily like BYJ.
How well they can act or sing seems irrelevant, cos myriad fangirls don’t care abt that, n hardworking guys like Hyun Bin ssi n PSH lag behind in all measures that count.
@Jennie, Ballard of Seodong is out of print n not available fr Yesasia or Amazon. 🙁

  177. 177 : Jennie Says:

@KDaddict Other than Mysoju, you can also find it in Dramaload and Dailymotion. I checked the one in Dailymotion and it is a HD uploaded copy, so it is very clear and eng subs are good too. So no need to buy:-D. The title in Dailymotion is Ballad of Suh Dong.

  178. 178 : KDaddict Says:

Thanks for the heads up. That’ll be my next KD, when my eyes can focus again. Meanwhile, I’ll try to stay “on the wagon”, n not be an addict for a bit! Hee her.

  179. 179 : Jennie Says:

@ tc (175) Yes that’s our girl, who is in both of my all time favourites. Not that I am a fan of hers but so happened she’s in these dramas that I really really like. Have you seen Queen of the Game? I’ll be over at the FH thread since I’ve started watching that now. I think some people are getting annoyed with us here since we are no longer talking about QoR..hehee…

The story also interesting, the problem that well-built, the story line that flowing right in time.
They can make me curious to know what will happen next. It’s a rare thing to me waiting for the next episode of a K-Drama, I usually just don’t mind if i skip one or two episodes, but for this one, I just got home earlier from office only to watch it on time and never missed them 😀

finally finish watching it, lots of cuts made by the local stations here which is quite annoying but viewers just had to accept, missing some links tho.
if the original plot was that tae hee was to reconcile with jun soo – that would mean poor, poor yong shik – unless another girl, younger, smarter, more beautiful was put on his tray ..hehe..- i guess this would require longer epis, perhaps up to 60. characters of jun soo & yeo jin develop into good persons eventually, something nice as closure. however, i note that this is another series with sort of a “recurring” theme of “the other son” – meaning the son/heir from “the other woman” – i’ve seen a few of this theme, in Bad Guy, Baker King (Tak Goo).. etc.. even to the period type like Dong Yi.. etc. packaged in a various settings, backgrounds but the core is that of the other son that is unwanted, or despised, by the “first” family…i wonder, in reality, does that happen a lot in korea nowadays..?
lastly, in summary, i quite enjoy this series.

  195. 195 : psh fan Says:

I like this QOR review that was posted in tumblr by malariamonsters:

One of my favourite things about Queen of Reversals is the characterization of Goo Yong Shik.
At first glance he has many of the trappings of the typical lead male: he’s a lonely chaebol with daddy issues, a playboy-womanizer, has a secretary-cum-best friend/sidekick, has no other friends, and masks his isolation with cheekiness and an inflated ego.
But, and I think this is one of the best reversals of the show: he doesn’t exhibit many of the qualities that you would expect from such an introduction. Indeed, when we first meet him, he’s waking up in bed with a girl whose name we never learn, whom he treats with an irreverent indifference that contrasts strikingly with how we see him interact with Tae Hee later on. He rolls out of bed and checks himself out in the mirror, slapping and admiring his abs, then whips his leather jacket and sunglasses on and compliments himself on his sense of style.
He’s hilariously self-involved, which is a wonderful set up for when he starts falling in love with Tae Hee, who is so involved in her own marital and workplace problems that she never even notices his goofy longing glances and responds to his attempts at trying to get close to her with grumpy, grumbling annoyance.

Yong Shik never exhibits the bitterness and angst that you would expect from him. Despite the fact his mother left him as a baby in his father’s care, he never resents her. Instead he waits for her, and hopes for her return, and accepts every opportunity he may have to meet her. When he finally does meet her, there are no hurt accusations; no spurning of affection, just concern for her well-being and happiness that he’s found her. (Tae Hee recognizes this, which is why she tells his sleeping mother, “Even though you weren’t here, he loved you so much. We could all tell.”).
Despite the fact that his older brothers and step-mother treat him with disdain and actively try to destroy him, he never reciprocates their feelings or actions. He wants to gain their respect, and he works towards that.
And even though his father is the typical stern kdrama dad—disapproving of his love for Tae Hee, trying to control his life through the company he’ll pass on to him—Yong Shik somehow is able to maintain a joking, genial, and loving relationship with him.
He’s a hopeful character, and optimistic character, a character who is always striving. The scene that most illustrates this for me comes in episode 26, after Tae Hee has left the team and has publicly rejected him (in order to protect him from Song Yi), and he finds out that his mother is in the hospital. He runs to Tae Hee and asks her to go with him. He says it’s because he’s scared to go alone, but it’s more than that. It’s because he has shared so much with her about his mother already and she’s the person he’s most emotionally vulnerable with, and even though she’s rejected him, he’s still open and honest with her

Best of all, he’s a romantic hero who doesn’t need to go through a conversion to realize his feelings for our heroine. I’ve found that in many kdrama romances, the hero is at first unwilling to love the heroine, and it’s only in the last episodes, sometimes even the very last one, that he shows his true feelings. Kim Sam Soon, Secret Garden, Coffee Prince, Scent of a Woman: all these dramas have explicit plot lines in which the hero has to overcome his attraction to the heroine because—horror of horrors!—she doesn’t resemble who he usually goes for.
Once Yong Shik recognizes his feelings for Tae Hee he confesses them. And he keeps on confessing, too. He also doesn’t simply expect her to love him back, just because he’s a handsome chaebol. He asks her to give him a chance. His confessions don’t just involve him telling her that he loves her, but are acknowledgements of her reasons for reservation when it comes to romance. Here are excerpts from two of my favourite confessions from the show:

Episode 24: “I can’t wait that long. So please…be with me now.”

Episode 28: “Hwang Tae Hee-sshi. Are you there? Can you hear me?…
How you felt 5 years ago is how I feel now. All I need is you to make me happy. With you, there ar no regrets, no fears.
I’ll win, even if the world is against me. And I won’t change. So long as you’re you, I won’t change. Even if you get older, uglier, and crankier. Whatever you do, I won’t change. I won’t wither or grow cold. I can’t ask you to come with me, but can’t you just be there? Can’t you pick up when I call? If I buy dinner, have some. If I buy movie tickets, just sit in the next seat. And if I confess every day, can you just listen? If not, can you at least not push me away.

Boy is frank. Yong Shik has a sincerity about him that comes through in all that he does. He’s generous with his love and he’s steadfast. And that’s why he is one of my favourite kdrama heros.

Ha Yoo Mi as Ms. Han was really scary looking. Probably played a closet lesbian since she was so vindictive over Tar Hee’s getting married. If she was so smart, how could she believe that younger employee who took pver as team leader? If I had a subordinate come and talk against her boss, I’d really question it. That is really bad writing right there. Not very consistent, is it????

  203. 203 : Suma Says:

I am pnly watching these drama series because of Park Shi Hoo but his role here is not likable so I don’t really know how long I will be watching. Actually, none ofvtge characters in this drama is likable, none!

  204. 204 : Suma Says:

I hate the writing in this drama. No one likes to be reminded of how hard it is during a bad economy. It is very stressful, no matter what country you ate in. Most economies are not good right now except maybe China or Brazil. To get away from it you need entertainment that will make you forget, not remind you of it.

  205. 205 : Suma Says:

The more I watch Korean dramas, the more I get turned off. This business about the daughter in law beingnlike a slave to the husband’s family for the rest of her life is a lot of bull.
