jung hae in 👍👍👍❤
May 23rd, 2019 at 11:44 pm
LOLS this kdrama screams “Something in the Rain”… the vibe, the ambience, the music, everything
May 24th, 2019 at 7:10 am
This is the best
May 24th, 2019 at 1:04 pm
The synopsis is misleading; it isn’t that the main characters have been dating for 6 years but that they’re in long term relationships with their respective partners before the drama begins.
May 24th, 2019 at 5:18 pm
I gotta say, the music in this drama is bland and in one song it was harmonically uninspired. They could have gone down the route that “Something In The Rain” did and included at least one classic, Korean trot, Rock, Motown, Blues, C&W whatever the genre; “Save The Last Dance”, “Stand By Your Man” really helped Jung Hae In’s drama with Son Ye Jin.

Owh…this drama makes my heart flutters, and both the main actors played their roles so real…thumbs up!
June 14th, 2019 at 9:40 am
love this drama ^^
June 14th, 2019 at 9:18 pm
I liked the moment when she showed him the dinosaur sticker on her phone. It said everything they both needed to hear. That was a really nice touch in the script. I was blown away how effective it was and appropriate because both of them are not talkers. If the drama would maintain that to the end, it’d be just awesome.
June 15th, 2019 at 12:28 am
Why such poor ratings ? Slow drama ?
June 18th, 2019 at 8:08 pm
So terribly slow and boring.. I gave it a go and after 2 episodes, it’s goodbye. The plot and the main cast seems to be slow mode. And the producer seems to be promoting the song cos it’s played so many times over the episodes until I have to put it on silent and just read the subs.to spare myself the torture.
June 20th, 2019 at 4:37 am
Ki Suk’s father; “Times have changed. You can’t force her to marry you.”
So at one time you can marry a woman whether she wants to or not. Lol!
Ki-suk’s attitude is what he deems the reality in his relationship with with his girlfriend Jung-in is the reality, never mind how she feels. It’s an attitude that carries over to other areas of his life, like how he relates to Ji-ho and the others in his circle of friends.
Children learn from their parents and Ki-suk is like his father and although the father is aware of his son’s undesirable traits, it’s not evident that he sees it in himself. Which leads me to suspect elements of the drama are taken from actual life situations that the writer may have witnessed.

#18 Holly: “. . . the producer seems to be promoting the song cos it’s played so many times over the episodes until I have to put it on silent”
The problem with the song is the chord movement which generally provides the harmonic context of the melody is missing. A terrible mistake perhaps made during the mixing stage of the audio production. The guitars are not playing root which is fine, but it leaves the melody in the air and the listener somewhat lost. It’s like dropping in on a conversation without knowing the topic.
When I played the basic chords, I understood the song better, before that it was awful.

#18 Holly, the thing I noticed is that a lot of the time the music is not appropriate to what’s going on in some of the scenes. In a situation where you’re falling in love and learning about the other person the energy is super-charged. Endorphins are primed and while there’s anticipation of what lies ahead there’s an overwhelming sense of togetherness like a “perfect fit” with the person you’re with. While the music can be soft, it can’t be limp or sad.
In episode 18 in the coffee shop drinking coffee the music failed to support the feelings of the two lovers in that scene. It failed miserably as it has in many other scenes I’ve noted.

I love the drama the actors and the Music! Keep watching!
June 22nd, 2019 at 4:02 am
I am hooked on this romantic Drama, mostly because of the excellent acting of the leads. Can’t wait for the episodes to come
June 25th, 2019 at 1:52 am
Am I the only one who find the leading female character thoroughly annoying? This miss can make up her mind, yet she tells gorgeous Ji Ho she doesn’t care if she breaks his heart. What a spoiled, selfish brat! Super annoying!
June 25th, 2019 at 4:25 am
slow romance is usually not my type!
even though it is slow, the pace is just perfect !
The actors are amazing! some realistic drama here!
Maybe the adult viewer would enjoy the essence of the movie more!
Definitely didnt think i would like it, but this movie just won my heart!
The drama is perfect just as the way it should be!
<3
P.S. i hope the ratings go up! because this one is just something that touches your soul!
June 27th, 2019 at 7:39 am
I have loved Han Ji Min ever since “Rooftop Prince” but can’t get into her character here. This drama is an obvious attempt to capture the magic of “Something in the Rain” but it is difficult to catch lightning in a bottle.
June 28th, 2019 at 1:35 pm
OMG! junghaein’s smile is really priceless. i cant help, but smile while watching theirs acting 💖
July 3rd, 2019 at 1:37 am
I love Han Ji Min and Jung Hae In, but don’t usually go for this PD’s style. Hoping the drama does well though!
July 4th, 2019 at 4:52 pm
There are 7 actors from Something In The Rain that are in this drama. Not sure if there are more.
The Director and the Writer are that same as Something In The Rain.
This is the first drama for Lim Hyoun-Soo as Choi Hyun-Soo and Lee Yoo-Jin as Lee Ye-Seul.
Jung Hae In looks like Kim Jeong Huyn from Section TV Enter-tainment. They could pass for brothers. Both are cute guys.
July 5th, 2019 at 2:53 pm
Shouldn’t the parents be happy their daughter is deeply in love and with a good man? They must know Ki Suk is a selfish shit-head.
July 5th, 2019 at 2:58 pm
And can someone please put the composer/musicians out of their misery. The music is more depressing than Simon and Garfunkel during their “Sound of Silence”. days.
July 11th, 2019 at 10:10 pm
sad. tonight will be the last episode..
missing you already Hae In ❤️
the best drama ever!! makes me happy
July 12th, 2019 at 3:11 pm
Beautiful ending.
Beautiful drama.
But the music sucked elephant balls.
July 13th, 2019 at 10:08 am
the drama is over and and i’m satisfied with the ending.
i’m gonna miss Jung In and Ji Ho ✿✿✿
July 15th, 2019 at 6:47 pm
What a bummer — what is with Win TV (MBC) Chicago???? They aired this show — Episodes 1 – 8, then on July 10 they started airing Radiant Office out of the blue. I can’t believe they did that.
They just had a marathon asking for money for 5 weeks to support their station and now they are showing re-runs. I am so upset by this. Why send them money if they are going to only show drama re-runs????
Ever since MBC and KBS were on strike MBC never got back to par afterwards.
July 16th, 2019 at 12:15 pm
Same thing happened to me!!! Did not get to see the end of this drama. They started with Radiant Office. I tried watching on drama9cool and got blocked. I will try Netflix! I live in California. I love kdramas!!! I watch on MBC 18-3. (10:10 pm)
This drama Blessings of the Sea – 122 Eps is terrible just like Secret and Lies(Bad reviews on both) These dramas are too long
and just drag on, on.
July 16th, 2019 at 9:05 pm
Enjoyed this show, but like so many other karmas the sound track is far too simplistic – when will they figure out that for 10-20 hours of video, you need at least an hour of music to go with it. Even better get a composer to do an instrumental arrangement without vocals, and save a single song for the title theme.

I agree that Blessing Of The Sea and Secret and Lies were both bad dramas. Two bad dramas in a row. MBC is running a lot of re-runs.
This is a new show that started July 15 or 16 —- Monday – Friday in the morning — 7:50 – 8:30 a.m. ===== “Everybody Say Kungdari” on MBC. Some one on Asian Wiki posted they saw 4 episodes and it was good.
July 22nd, 2019 at 8:59 pm
truly enjoyed this drama, all cast did an excellent job specially the leads. I didnt feel like I was watching a drama it felt like watching a normal life of a family, the acting was superb. and no stupid funny acts with other family memebers. as normly seems to happen in Kdramas, it was pure story about a everyday life. Def recommend this, will miss Han ji min and jung hae in. Well done

@Drama Fan
Thank you!
July 27th, 2019 at 1:04 pm
I will watch ANYTHING with Jung Hae In! how she can be so mean to him is beyond me. After I finish watching this on Netflix, I’ll go back and watch “something in the rain” for the 10th time, 💕 then maybe I’ll watch this again because it’s so slow I keep nodding off.
August 6th, 2019 at 11:45 pm
I loved this drama. It was well acted and the overall vibe was intense, if not action packed. Very impressed by the female characters taking on the patriarchy that is so alive and destructive in Korea. Fighting for the feminine in Korea and everywhere.
August 9th, 2019 at 1:47 am
