Umji, born in Incheon, is a South Korean singer and former member of the Korean pop group G-Friend. She graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul.
After G-Friend disbandment on May 22, 2021, she left her old company Source Music and has signed with Big Planet Made. The group will re-debut as a three-member group VIVIZ with her and former members, Eunha, and SinB.
