Park Jin Young is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, and a member of the boy band Got7 and boy band duo JJ Project. He made his acting debut in the 2012 series “Dream High 2” and made his film debut in the 2016 independent film “A Stray Goat”.
Due to his shared name with his agency’s founder, Park originally debuted with the stage name Jr., but later changed the spelling to Junior due to widespread confusion about the correct pronunciation of his name. On August 16th, 2016, Park announced that he would simply go by his given name.
He has been awarded the Potential Award as well as the Popularity Award in the television/film category at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards.
Park officially signed BH Entertainment on January 28 of 2021.
