Synopsis

When director Davin, a 27-year-old film student, began calling herself a feminist three years ago, small changes took place in her daily life. I go out without makeup, check hidden cameras when I use public toilets, think of domestic harsh at the cry of a woman next door, participate in street rallies, and get hurt by family reactions to the feminist movement. This is a private essay film that explores the genderidentity of a Korean woman in her twenties, loaded in the diary narration of the director who refers to herself as a third person ‘woman’. There is also a feeling of home video in the scenes of the moving of a family who devoted a large portion of the movie. Rather than making a clear voice towards the world, the self-reflecting attitude and sincere gaze that quietly peeks into the subtle movements of emotions arising within one is impressive.
