Synopsis

Widowed mother Madam Hong lives with Hong Suk, Haeng Suk, Seong Suk, Kong Suk and Jun Tae on Hong Suk’s income, who is a dentist.
Hong Suk has postponed her marriage to Seong Tae for seven years to take care of her family. Seong Suk is already pregnant when she marries Woo Jeong, but he is blamed for another man’s crime and is put into jail. Gong Suk takes in a writernamed Yang Gi as a lodger.
Haeng Suk, who is a nurse at Hong Suk’s clinic, is bothered when a dentist named Gwang Su opens another dentist clinic right next door, and Jun Tae secretly studies The Book of Changes that predicts a person’s fate, before he follows his eldest sister’s advice to focus on his school work.
Finally, Woo Jeong is released from prison, Haeng Suk marries Gwang Su, Seong Tae comes back to Hong Suk, and Yang Gi’s novel inspired by the family wins a prize.
