Synopsis

This film is an action melodrama that describes the gruesome fall of a young man through hopeless dreams and destined love. Wandering around the night streets of Macao and fumbling with 25-cent blue chips, Yeong Hoo gives Min Sup’s lover excessive doses of substances, and when she dies, the two men throw the corpse into the ocean.
Three years later, Yeong Hoo returns from his reclusive life. He does not wander onthe streets of Macao anymore. Yeong Hoo stays very close to Min Sup without disclosing his inner mind. In the meantime, Min Sup’s half-sister, Mi Ran, comes back in time for the reading of their father’s will. Min Sup asks Yeong Hoo to watch over Mi Ran, but she falls in love with Yeong Hoo, who tries to understand her fits and promises to marry her. At the same time, he comes across Min Sup’s fiance, Hyeon Joo. Yeong Hoo experiences a conflict between his desire to raise his status and pure emotions.
