I like Song Chang Ui – hope I will enjoy this romance comedy.
Lee Ji Ah – I could not recognise u in this wedding photo. U r thinner.
I prefer yr looks in Me Too A Flower – yr face hv more flesh, looks prettier :)

  2. 2 : jury Says:

I have feeling in the end lee ji-ah will divorce with her second husband and married again with Jung Tae Won (Song Chang Ui), or she will find her new husband because of the title “The Woman Who Married Three Times”, but I prefer she will reunited with her first husband

  3. 3 : OK OK OK Says:

    @ jury

Remarry back the 1st husband also can counted as Married 3X. LOL :)
I also hope that she will marry Song chang Ui – hope he is a good man :)

  4. 4 : Pim Says:

Trailer look great!!! I Love it so much.

  5. 5 : OK OK OK Says:

After watching the trailer. Lee Ji Ah – You are a pretty bride :) :)

  6. 6 : jury Says:

    @3 OKOKOK
I just know that lee jiah have divorced with Seo taeji and while she’s in married relationship, she’s dated with actor jung woosung. It looks like this drama refer to her life and she’s perfect choice for this role than han ga-in, kim sarang, or song jihyo since 2 of them haven’t married and han gain haven’t experience with divorce. I hope she’s reunited with song chang-ui since there’s character building in here and maybe audience will sympathize with him as the story goes on :)

  7. 7 : OK OK OK Says:

    @ jury

When I read about this synopsis, I find that it resembles her story…..
I knew about Lee Ji Ah divorced because people dig up her past when she acted Me too a Flowers with Yoon Shi Yoon. She is also mother of 2 children if I did not remember wrongly.
Actor Jung Woo sung says he was shock too about her history when others ask about her. :)
People says she lied about her age too. Everybody have ups and down.
I didn’t know Ha ga etc went for audition.
I hope this is a nice drama & she will end up with Song Chang Ui but in real lives, she knows better who to choose :)

    @ 6 Jury

If is acted by Song Jihyo, then I will not watch because I have watched a few of her dramas and very disappointed with her makeup.

Mandate from Heaven with Lee Dong Wook & also another ancient drama Jumong with Song Il Gook – very plain, not lively at all.

I started to like Song Jihyo in running man but if she continue to do her plain makeup in dramas, I will not want to watch. :)

  9. 9 : jury Says:

Her secret marriage is bigest scandal in 2011 and when I see her list drama, her career start when she has splited up with seo taeji and then she changed her name. Maybe it’s her commitment with seo taeji to cover up their marriage especially since seo taeji is an idol and Maybe it’s her commitment with her agency to cover her past and start new life since married woman is less popular than single woman and surprisingly her debut is big successful and rise up her popularity.
I don’t like song jihyo’s acting since her drama in Goong and I think she did not make progress with her acting. The memorable her role is in Frozen Flower lol. I surprisde when I saw her in FF, it takes more courage especially since she takes a lot of project in drama and then she appear in Running Man.so I appreciate her as an actress and variety woman.

    @ jury

I 1st know this Lee Ji Ah is her 1st drama with Bae Yong Jun — The Legend (2007)

Very disappointed with the 2 leading ladies becoz both look like aunties & keep asking why these 2 aunties are chosen. One of them the husband is of high post in the industry I think. I didn’t enjoy The Legend at all even though Bae Yong Jun is one of my favourite actor. :(

But Lee Ji Ah looks has improved for the better. I watched her in Me too a Flowers – complete :)

As for Lee Jihyo – Yes I remember Frozen Flower. Don’t know what made her so daring. But one thing to console is she is “doing” it with Jo In Sung & not some ugly bad toad – ha ha :)

Yes, maybe is not only her plain makeup, I think its her dull acting :)

  11. 11 : jury Says:

    @10 OKOKOK
I saw you in Golden Rainbow thread lol. I like jung ilwoo & UEE but I more interested with TWWMTT’s story.

  12. 12 : Dramamama Says:

Glad to know that Lee Ji Ah is back to acting again. Seen her in The Legend, Beethoven Virus & Me Too Flower. I like her a lot & looking forward to watching this new drama… Fighting, Lee Ji Ah ssi!! Will always support u!

  13. 13 : jury Says:

I read in hancinema that this drama has 32 episode, but in asianwiki it has 50 episode, which one is true?

It seems this week is premier week for long episode drama: Empress Ki (50 episode), Golden Rainbow (50 episode), and The woman who married three times, and also Melody of love (+100 episode) which premiere next week

  14. 14 : tina Says:

Hope this drama become daebak. Writer Kim Soo Hyun, may this year become
Yours. It’s a reality story thar happens, although I’m still have a few doubt with
Lee Ji Ah. Wait for the poster also the best result.

  15. 15 : jury Says:

Uhm jiwon and her dogs. I like her dog in first pic, so cute & has many expressions <3

Thanks for the links anyway :)

  19. 19 : jury Says:

    @18 OKOKOK
Uh,the last time I could see the picture but now I can’t, maybe it has been deleted from original source. You are welcome, at first glance I thought the dog is a doll but when I saw another picture that dog has many expression lol.

  20. 20 : kelie Says:

Well, I can’t wait any longer. I would like to know the posters. I hope this drama
Become success as much as I Hear Your Voice ( I’m afraid SBS will have preety dry year to end) . Hope to the director, actors, crew, and especially for the writer.

  21. 21 : zelle Says:

Writer Kim Soo Hyun, I adore some of your dramas which written by yourself.
Even facing some problems, I hope you can through this and this drama brings better resulr.
BTW, why uhm ji won’s hair style is like that? Is that for the role? Because I think
    She’s pretty. :)

  22. 22 : Jason Says:

  23. 23 : Nudge Says:

I like Uhm Ji Won’s character. As an actress she presents well too. She seems comfortable and relaxed in the role.

  24. 24 : Maria Says:

Watching the first episode and I like the first sister. Down to earth. As for the 2nd sister, I don’t like her character. How can she abandon her child? Ok, even if you have to leave her, but not seeing her every week or call everyday? She is thinking of her new husband. Hah! Looks like the 2nd marriage may fail anyway, with the actress in the scene.
But I love the first sister’s part, I think that would be more interesting to watch.

  25. 25 : hny Jo Says:

    I’m Watching this…:))

  26. 26 : Jyenie Says:

Just watched ep 1, I enjoyed it :)

  27. 27 : Jyenie Says:

This drama is so so good! Certain scenes are so touchy, they makes me cry.

  28. 28 : Sharon Says:

Wow! The house is beautiful. They are stepping up their game on home decor!!

  29. 29 : Sharon Says:

So, the 2nd sister leave her child to marry another man. That’s crazy , although I don’t know all the details I won’t pass any judgment. The kid seems to love her dad to death, all those kisses she gave him and her mom receive no warmth from her. Mmmmmm..

What kind of shit is that!! To ask a mother to abandon her child is blasphemy! The worst part is she gave the kid up.. What the hell . Is love that strong, or money that good. Now they are slandering her and that’s why her daughter is distance from her. No booboo, you did that all by yourself. Maybe if you visit more often???
Ep 1 was alright, let see what the other eps has in-store for us, hmmm.

  30. 30 : Sharon Says:

GW is a childish brat; A devil cricket!!! Haha.. GM Mom: have you been working as a clown, why do you look like that!! Hahaha..

It seems as if been divorced as a woman is highly looked down upon in Korea. So, why aren’t the men treated the same way?

Could someone slap the s#%t out of GM. He is the brat of all brats!! I hate to see a grown man like that go to waste.

Why do I have an uneasy feeling about this lady Seoul Gi dad’s planning to marry?? I think she deliberately invited herself in , so she could stay for dinner. As far as I can see TW still want to be with SG mom, that’s why he did not take his daughter to live with him. He wanted to still have some kind of connection to his ex -wife family.

Yes, I can understand not having a child sit in the front seat due to safety, but we all know you wanted to sit there.

Is JW in love with GM???
    Ep 2 was ok.
I just don’t see a solid reason for ES to leave her child. She expects no one to speak negatively about it. I don’t think anyone told the child about her. As a mother she did not keep her promos to call her everyday and see her on the weekend. Get a clue ES that’s parenting 101.

  31. 31 : Sharon Says:

Why did Lee Ji Ah did that to her face!! Too much PS !!

Let the kid go to her dad!!!! Damn!!

He leave you at the altar!!!!! Get over it!!! That’s not love that’s obsession!

Ok, so ES told TW that his mom is a B#%ch and all she cares about is money, so don’t let their daughter live with him. I can’t understand that?? If he feels that ES is been truthful about his mother then he should find a place and move with his daughter.
The situation that the child is in is not healthy it can have long term effect like trust and self esteem issues.

  32. 32 : Sharon Says:

What’s up with all the plastic surgery faces in the dramas, pretty soon they will all look like aliens.

  33. 33 : Jyenie Says:

Nice to see you here :)

I like the tone of this drama and the way they talk, the writer also wrote the scripts for Life is Beautiful and Thousand promises. I thoroughly enjoyed LIB but I dropped TP halfway, probably due to Soo Ae.

Yes, too much plastic and botox is not natural and beautiful.

  34. 34 : Sharon Says:

Glad you are here too! Let’s see if the story keep us here.

  35. 35 : WSW Says:

Just watch Ep1 and agree with u all about Lee Ji ah face, what happen to her face? Someone just throw acid on her face?

The only interesting character in this drama is Uhm Ji Won, will continue to watch because of her.

  36. 36 : Jyenie Says:

Just watched ep 5, it is still holding my interest, can’t wait to watch ep 6!

I think I am biased with Lee Ji Ah, no matter how flawed her character is in this drama, I still like Oh Eun Soo. I think she is going to divorce her current husband and rekindle her relationship with TW, JG will be trying real hard to court her again.

Lee Ji Ah’s face is getting more natural now, she would look great at the end of the drama. LOL.

  37. 37 : Sharon Says:

Why is it Soo hard for a woman. If she wants to remarry she has to sacrifice, if, She wants a career she has to sacrifice, if she wants to have a child she has to sacrifice. Wae! Wae! Wae!!!!
Ep 5 was good must admit. Seems like Eun Soo is finally coming to her senses.

  38. 38 : Jyenie Says:

Ep 6 Eun Soo’s daughter is really giving her hard time, she is impossible to be convinced at all, she keeps on comparing her mother with her father. I feel sorry for ES but she should have sorted her daughter’s issue first before she remarries.
Chairman Kim is very firm about not allowing them to move out from his home. Meanwhile, Dami is desperate for JG by threatening suicide. Apparently ES and JG will have conflicts awaiting them as soon as she is back from the short trip.

  39. 39 : Sharon Says:

So,ES gave up her daughter and decided to sticks with her husband’s family. What’s going to happen when the suicidal movie star get busted??!!
ES ex husband is soo nice comparing to his mother. All she does is scream!!

  40. 40 : xxxzxxx Says:

I don’t think it’s much harder for a woman than it is for men. It comes with self-explanation that a person with a young child has to sacrifice – that comes with deciding to have a child. If you are not willing to sacrifice then don’t get pregnant and give birth to a child. If men wants to re-marry they have to sacrifice also. If men wants to have a career they have to sacrifice also – it goes for everyone on this planet.
In this drama ES is a shitty mother and I don’t blame her daughter. If I was her daughter I’d chosen my father also – who would want to live with a mother who is willing to sacrifice you for another man. It’s only natural that children compare their parents – in this case the winner is very very obvious since only one is actually a parent by actions and the other only a parent by title.
If she was really a mother she would not even consider a man who would not accept her child right away – ES is only a mother by title. I don’t feel sorry for her at all – she is just plain selfish.
I feel sorry for her daughter – it must be sad to have a mother like that…

I don’t know whether Lee Ji Ah had plastic surgery or not but she looks the same as she did in ‘Me Too Flower’ when comparing pictures.

    @33 – Jyenie.
Off-toping: I usually don’t hate actresses but for some reason I can’t stand Soo Ae either..

  41. 41 : Sharon Says:

I don’t think a man sacrifice as much as a woman especially when it comes baby and career. It’s a mans world!! A woman has to fight twice as hard to keep both.

  42. 42 : xxxzxxx Says:

“I don’t think a man sacrifice as much as a woman especially when it comes baby and career. It’s a mans world!! A woman has to fight twice as hard to keep both.”

I think this is a lie. It’s an excuse women uses because they are not good enough to actually succeed. They are not willing to put in the effort men do – do you actually think men can succeed in a career without sacrificing time with family. That’s what needs to be sacrificed and the truth is men more than women are willing to sacrifice that. This is why we see more men on higher positions because they are more willing to sacrifice having a family life. In most developed countries women actually have more rights than men – just look at alimony cases and child custody cases. It’s funny that even to this day when women can work if they are willing to it’s still expected that men pay them after a divorce – the law worked when in the past women were not able to work but not now a days.
I know some women also pay alimony but it’s mostly men.

The higher number of men in higher positions are not a sign of inequality – equality is not about equal results but about equal OPPORTUNITIES and in a lot of countries women have equal opportunities. It’s just that women at some time in life are more willing to sacrifice career and have a family than men are. There are a lot of women who have succeeded and it’s probably because they were actually willing to sacrifice that family time. It’s probably also because women are more willing to be in a relationship where the man is the one who earns the most money and works most of the time and they take care of the family. It’s more rare that men actually wants to marry a woman who is working and earning more money than them and where they have to take more care of the family.

  43. 43 : John k Says:

This drama gets annoying every episode. You can tell a woman wrote this drama. This drama sucks because the ex husband can’t get over his ex wife who is married to another man. Why is it when a woman writes a drama she makes the guy look like a fool?? A man who can’t get over his ex so he hurts his current woman who is nice and sweet. How come in korean drama the good people get hurt and the asshole or bitch gets happiness? In korean dramas if a woman wrote the script the man hangs around like a loser .if your kind you don’t get the girl or guy ,that’s wrong with Koreans !!

  44. 44 : Sharon Says:

That’s the question I asked and was saying in the first place!! SACRIFICE!!! Why do women have to sacrifice??!!
From civilization woman has been sacrifice to, or sacrifice for. She was hit on the head with a club and dragged to the caves to sacrifice herself to fulfill men’s lust and desires.
Right now, a woman is been sacrifice to an abusive husband/ boyfriend, right now, a woman is been sacrificed to been raped by a man, right now, a woman has been sacrificed by been sexually harassed everyday at work, by a man. Right now, a woman has been sacrifice as a sex slave and trafficking, by a man. Right now, the role of woman has been reversed, because she has to be the mother and father of her household due to her husband gambling, or drinking.
In many countries woman is worth nothing, so if pregnant with a girl abortion is considered, but not for males!! Please, don’t get me wrong men sacrifice, but not as much as woman.
You also speak of EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES !! What is equal about opportunity for woman? In the corporate world a woman is talked about and ridicule if she out does her male counterpart she is perceived as trying to become a man. A woman don’t get equal pay as man and this is proven statistically. They do the same work, but there is a glass ceiling for women.
If a woman move up in rank it’s implied that she sleeps with someone to acquire her position. Please, please don’t say such things, so lightly until you can fit into her STILETTOS.😏

  45. 45 : xxxzxxx Says:

I don’t know where to start but I’ll try. I don’t care what have happened in the past it has nothing to do with now. I’m speaking of now and now a days women has just as many if not more rights as men. I’m not talking about 3rd world countries now. I’ll also make clear that men suffer for abusive wives also – maybe more emotional abuse. I’m also pretty sure that women hit their men more often than men hit women – people just ignore it because they are women (see again special rights for women). In a lot of movies and cartoons women hitting men are made a joke of while if this was reversed and men were hitting women and made a joke of the entire female population would go crazy about it. Men suffer just as much as women. The thing you are talking about – men drinking and gambling has nothing to do with the world being unfair towards women. It’s not like women are forced to marry abusive and gambling husbands. There are a lot of shitty wives out there too – just as many as there are shitty husbands…

I also have to say that all the talk about women not having equal pay is BULLSHIT. It’s just because some people likes to fuck around with statistics so that they fit their version of the world.

The reason some people say otherwise is because they manipulate with words and statistics. They say that women and men does not have equal pay but they forget to mention that this is only if you do NOT compare the same jobs. If you take the average male salary and compare it with the average female salary then sure the males salary are higher but that’s because they tend to go for jobs that earn more money and they tend to work more hours than women – so of course men’s average pay will be higher. If you compare men and women who do the exact same job the exact same number of hours then they have equal pay…

I’m not saying anything lightly – I’m just stating the truth here…

  46. 46 : Sharon Says:

Your facts are incorrect!! When you do taxes for a company you tends to know ones salary. Although, you are not suppose to.. I know first hand that men gets a higher rate in pay than women doing the same job.
All these thing don’t just happen in 3rd world countries they happen everywhere. Go out side for a minute and take a look..read the news paper, etc.
you said you don’t care about what happen in the past. However, what is was and what was is. Nothing is new under the sun. I am just saying , WOMEN always sacrifice!!! Your mother may have sacrifice some way, or another for you, I know mine has. I am not saying that man has not sacrifice, but not as much as women. IT’S A MANS WORLD!!!

  47. 47 : xxxzxxx Says:

Well honestly you can keep telling yourself that women are the hunted gender – but truth is that we have equal pay. Whether you want to believe it or not does not change that fact. You saying that you know it first hand does not help since I can just say I know it first hand that there is equal pay. I also have a very simple question. If women really did earn less than men for equal work then please tell me why would campanies hire men when they could hire women for the same work cheaper. I don’t wish for an answer saying that men have some kind of war against women because what people care most about in this world is money and if they could hire women for same work cheaper – they would do it.

If we hypothetically say that men do have a wish to keep women down which is why more men are in higher positions in companies than women then why would women not start their own companies and hire women which are as smart as men for cheaper pay since if companies prefer hiring men over women then there would be a lot of bright women one could hire for cheaper pay than men. Those women starting such companies would surely get rich no? It ain’t happening though – What does that tell you?

If talking about equality then please comment on the alimony and child custody laws also – both which highly favours women. I also wish to know whether women should also be forced into military service just like men? – would that not only be fair with gender equality? Why should women and children be first into lifeboats? If we are talking equality shouldn’t it just be children and one parent first?.

My mother has sacrificed for me and so has my father – none more than the other. That is what parents do.

  48. 48 : Sharon Says:

They hire men because it’s a mans world!! Men don’t care to hire women because they feel it cost the company more in the end. Woman takes levels when have baby. They feel woman are emotional unstable because they have monthly. Woman take off work, or leave early due to children, parents , etc. That’s why they prefer to hire men than women.

There are many business that are owned and run by women. Lots of Fortune 500 company and 1000 company. Unfortunately, she would be charged with discrimination if only hire women.

The law believe that a mother will be more nurturing to a child and will be more able to take care of the child with the alimony the father gives. This is not the woman doing. This is the law that was passed by men.

There are a lot of women that’s willing to fight and represent their country, but again a man feel she is not strong enough, smart enough, etc.

It all boils down to that’s its a mans word!!

xxxzxxx, I guess we are not going to agree on this one either, hahahahaha!!!

  49. 49 : xxxzxxx Says:

“They hire men because it’s a mans world!! Men don’t care to hire women because they feel it cost the company more in the end. Woman takes levels when have baby. They feel woman are emotional unstable because they have monthly. Woman take off work, or leave early due to children, parents , etc. That’s why they prefer to hire men than women.”

This is why they earn less then – because they are not doing the same hours off work if they take more off :). If a woman work just as well and much as a man they will get same pay. If they don’t then it’s only fair they earn less.

“There are many business that are owned and run by women. Lots of Fortune 500 company and 1000 company. Unfortunately, she would be charged with discrimination if only hire women.”

If the women are just as good or better than the men then it’s not discrimination then they are hiring women because they are better :).

“The law believe that a mother will be more nurturing to a child and will be more able to take care of the child with the alimony the father gives. This is not the woman doing. This is the law that was passed by men.”

This is discrimination – it doesn’t matter if it’s the law it’s still discrimination :). The law was made like this because back in the days women were not able to work so that’s why alimony was only fair. In this day and age women can work if they want to which is why alimony is outdated. It was fair when women were not able to earn their own living but it’s not fair now. It doesn’t matter who made the law – it’s still discrimination.
If you were really against gender discrimination and a celebrator of equal opportunities then you’d be against this also.

In this case every excuses you are making are weak excuses.

In some industries there are more men and in some there are more women and this will never change. I think you need to realize that men and women are not the same. They deserve equal opportunities but they will never be the same. I’m not saying women are worse than men or men worse than women I’m just saying we will never be the same and there will always be industries men will be more attracted to than women and the same goes for women.

  50. 50 : Sharon Says:

The conversation started with why women has to sacrifice?? And you basically answered my question. Discrimination!! I don’t think i am making weak excuses, what I state is reality. If you would do some research you will realize that in reality women sacrifice because she is discriminated against in more ways than one. A lot of men still don’t want their women to work. They believe that she should be home taking care of the kids, cooking and cleaning. Yes, we have come a long way from been hit over the head with a club. However, we have come a long way due to a lot of women movements and I have hope that women will be able to work and reap equal reward as her male counterpart. I have nothing against men, I like having one in my bed at night.☺️

  51. 51 : xxxzxxx Says:

I’ve done enough research and women do not sacrifice more than men – both sacrifice in life. I’ve countered every excuse you’ve made but if you still want to delude yourself that women are discriminated against then I can’t do anything against that.
It’s not discrimination wanting a wife to take care of your home and children. I’d want to marry a woman who’d do that and it has nothing to do with discrimination. I know myself good enough to know that I’m lazy on those aspects and I’m a shitty cook – so I’d want a wife who fill out my weaknesses. I’m not forcing any woman to marry me and if she’s not willing to do these things then I’ll just not marry her it’s pretty simple. It has nothing to do with discrimination as long as women has the opportunity to work if they wish to work. If women wish to work and not take care of home and children then it’s up to them – but they can’t expect anyone to marry them if they do not wish to have a working wife. If a woman wish for a great career while having children then she’ll have to find a man who is willing to take care of children – whether it’s possible or not has nothing to do with discrimination. It’s not discrimination if a man does not wish for a working wife – it would be discrimination if women did not have the right to work though!.

  52. 52 : xxxzxxx Says:

“but they can’t expect anyone to marry them if men do not wish to have a working wife.”

  53. 53 : Sharon Says:

A working woman means an independent woman and most men want their woman dependent. However, with dependence come abuse. Why can’t they both work and contribute.
I feel like a woman place is where she wants it to be, there should be no boundaries, or discrimination. If I marry and change my mind to go to work there should be no problem. A happy wife is a happy life.
I understand what you are saying and I think you understand what I am saying too. We won’t see eye to eye, but I believe we can agree to disagree.
    Enjoy our debate!!!

  54. 54 : xxxzxxx Says:

    “However, with dependence come abuse.”

This is simply not true… If you think working women can’t have abusive boyfriends then you are deluding yourself… If you think women who prefer taking care of a family can’t have a sweet and nice husband who is not abusive then you are again deluding yourself..

“I feel like a woman place is where she wants it to be, there should be no boundaries, or discrimination.”

I never said anything else – I said if she wants to work she should be free to do so but no one can decide that I or any other man have to like or marry a woman who prioritize her career before family life. It’s not the right of women to decide what kind of women I or other men should like… This is where I think your “problem” lies. It seems you think women have the right to chose how they live their life and I agree with you on this point – they have that right (as long as they don’t hurt other people). The place you go wrong is when you take that freedom away from men deciding that they HAVE to like women who priotize work before family – that is hypocrisy. They have the right to not wanting working woman.

“I feel like a woman place is where she wants it to be, there should be no boundaries, or discrimination. If I marry and change my mind to go to work there should be no problem.”

There will and it is totally fair if the relationship was build on the notion that you would take care of the house and children – if you suddenly change your mind then you can’t expect the guy to just accept it without changing his mind either – again that’s hypocrisy.

“A happy wife is a happy life.”

    A totally one sided quote…

  55. 55 : xxxzxxx Says:

“They have the right to not wanting working a woman.”

  56. 56 : Nadege Says:

@xxxzxxx, thanks for your thoughts. We are of the same mind about this drama & topic!!!

  57. 57 : xxxzxxx Says:

“They have the right to not wanting a working woman.”*************

    That spelling of mine….

Hi Nadege it’s nice to see you again – we met at the ‘Goddess of Marriage’ thread the first time right?

  58. 58 : Sharon Says:

I think you are correct on the fact that a man choose who he wishes to marry, but in many instances a woman does not. Some woman are not able to choose the man she wants to marry it’s forced upon her, so freedom to choose is mostly given to men.
A man can up and leave his wife even if she is is ideal woman who cook, clean and stay home with the kids for another, but if a woman decides to do
The same she us deemed as a slut, treated badly and look down upon.
@xxxzxxx, you can say all you want , but women sacrifice more than men in many instances.

  59. 59 : Sharon Says:

Can we talk about the drama now??!!

  60. 60 : xxxzxxx Says:

Can we talk about the drama now??!!”

I’m not gonna end it with you having the last word like that.. If you wanted to end it then you should have avoided posting that comment just before:).

“I think you are correct on the fact that a man choose who he wishes to marry, but in many instances a woman does not. Some woman are not able to choose the man she wants to marry it’s forced upon her, so freedom to choose is mostly given to men.”

“but in many instances a woman does not.” – WHAT!!??

I don’t understand why you keep talking about 3rd world countries – I made it clear that I was refering to more developed countries…. I don’t know where you are from but women are not forced to marry any man in western society… It’s simply nonsense.

A man who abandons a sweet family for another woman is not looked upon nicely anywere – the same goes for women.

  61. 61 : Sharon Says:

    Hahahahaha!!! You are too much.

Ok, are 3rd world countries women not women??? Come on!! If you cut them will they not bleed, if you tickle them will they not laugh. Women are women wheter they are from 1st, 2nd, or 3rd world.

A man who abandons a sweet family for another woman is not looked upon nicely anywere – the same goes for women.

However, it’s not as bad for a man as it is for a woman and you know it.

  62. 62 : Nadege Says:

@ xxxzxxx, nice to see you again. You & I seem to have the similar analysis when it comes to KDramas. I love & enjoy KDramas but sometimes I scratch my head with some of these decisions made by KDramas characters.

  63. 63 : ptsh836 Says:

wow…this debate on sacrifices by women is head spinning; for now, its best we focus on what this drama is trying to tell us…

i, for one, does not feel much sympathy for OES seeing that she n her ex had parted ways not out of anything like betrayal or deceit but they were still very much in luv then…we see her choosing her own happiness ovr her child; marrying again so quickly n getting herself another set of difficult in-laws to deal with…so what is there to be compassionate abt here; if she is not happy she had brought it upon herself, had she not???

so who cares if her new hubby is gonna be unfaithful to her…do i pity her situation?? n when her daughter chooses her ex ovr her, did she not again caused that to happen as well?? there is no one to blame except herself for all her miseries, rite?? no???

d story of her sis, her immature fren n d runaway bridegroom is boring as hell except for d cute doggies, of course! i really am curious what this writer is trying to deliver here, thats all… :)

  64. 64 : Jyenie Says:

I absolutely agree with every line mentioned in comment #63.
OES doesn’t deserve any sympathy at all, and her sister with her friends storyline is so boring.

  65. 65 : Sharon Says:

What is the drama trying to tell us???
We were talking about sacrifice men and women makes. As you can see no one in the story made any sacrifice they just made choices, some not so good some not so bad.

  66. 66 : Sharon Says:

Where are you!!! Come out, come out where ever you are. Anyhow, have a.

  70. 70 : Jyenie Says:

I have enjoyed ep 15, I really like how they portray this drama. OES is such a gutsy lady who doesn’t accept any nonsense, she decides to divorce her 2nd husband just like that! Phew!

  71. 71 : torri Says:

the one thing i like about this site is the different opinion and ideas every one has and some may sound crazy others wisely said and some get too real close home especial with the family dramas , i have watch all the ep so far in this drama and i am still trying to understand what the writers massage is, the girl leaves her first husband because she was been abused by her in-laws even when she still loved her husband , then she leaves her daughter with her parents because her new husband family wont take accept her kid as part of the baggage which to me is rediclious because i personally think every single mum or dad need to make their kids as part of the package deal in to a new marriage so to me the girl was not only selfish but stupid to have left her daughter for what love !!!!! her ex husband made it clear his daughter will be a package deal even tough he was not the one who pick the wife but am very sure if her new husband had a child she would have had to accept his child as part of the package so why did they not accept her daughter , i like her no nonsense attitude when she finds out he cheated just 4 months in to their marriage she wants a devoice and i like the question she ask her husband had she been the one who cheated will he give her a second chance that is a question i would like to ask most men too will they forgive and forget well am looking forward to see how she gets out of the marriage

  72. 72 : Sharon Says:

Love the question. If I had cheated on you would you give me a second chance?? I have asked this question several times and this is the answer I receive.
    1. No! why? Because a woman can’t do what a man do and still be a lady.
    2. Can’t stand to know another man is touching my woman.
    3. I don’t know!
    4. I would kill her!
    5. I know I am wrong, but it hard for me to forgive her. These are some of the answers I was given.
Society has double standards when it comes to women cheating vs man cheating.

I also wondered what the story is trying to say to me. Maybe the writer hasn’t gotten there yet.

  73. 73 : xxxzxxx Says:

It’s the fault of women that it is like this. It’s the women accepting cheaters back – not the men. The men is right to not accept a betrayer – why don’t you blame the women?. They are the ones who according to you accept cheating men back. There are double standards in a lot of things which women benefits from also – e.g. woman hitting a man is a lot of times made a joke of while a man hitting a woman means the end of the world.. It’s the fault of women when they accept cheating men back but it’s also the fault of men when they let women hitting men be made a joke of while they will not accept men hitting women..

  74. 74 : John k Says:

I think the older sister is annoying and ruining this drama. This drama get worse and worse every week. Are you kidding me when the little sister gets married and divorces her first husband and gets married to another guy,and then divorces her second husband gets back with her first husband,it makes no sense!!!

  75. 75 : John k Says:

The first husband is a punk bitch. He married a woman because of his mother.

  76. 76 : Nudge Says:

I really appreciate Son Yeo Eun’s looks when she stands next to other Korean beauties. She stands out. What an underrated actress.

Hiya @xxxzxxx. Hope you’re enjoying the holidays.

The cast in this drama is pretty good. I’ve just resumed watching. It is noticeably dismal though.

The adults fussing over the child’s emotional torment. The child’s mother in a sad state of denial about abandoning her kid. Torn between her desire to be happy and her own child’s happiness.

While the solutions are pretty obvious to the viewer, one can’t always presume that the fix for one person will work for another. That never seemed to play out in reality. That said; my opinion how ever messed up it maybe goes; Oh Eun Soo is a misguided selfish individual. If a mother can’t find happiness in raising a child, she has little hope of knowing actual happiness with a man. The underlying principle between those two things, and which makes either work is commitment.

I think the premise of the drama is a tough one to render into 32 episodes. Each week we are reminded of the moral deficiency of our main character. And perhaps without a glimmer of redemption to hang ones hope on. There aren’t any characters one can root for either. Probably why the ratings aren’t so good. The writer perhaps ought to abandon “stylish” and go for engaging the audience.

  77. 77 : Yoli Says:

I’ve watching this drama for a few weeks now, there is the usual abusive mother in law with added bad behavior of the sister in law.

But what got my attention was the compassionate mother in law when the son cheated on the daughter in law and great aunt this is by far the first cheabol household that showed compassion. Mostly the mother in laws add to the heartache and remind the daughter in law that she should be regretful for a husband and their financial position.

I agree this drama is a bit long, I’m waiting for strong changes in this drama hopefully the writer or writers will get up to speed and write something note worthy to make this drama stand out.

The couple that separated due to the mother and sister in law influence I hope they get back together. They miss each other and the new wife doesn’t really care for the child. It sadden me to see how in laws make or break marriages in Korean dramas I’m left with the impression that their old ways are making the next generation more unhappy with their unreasonable demands. And men please stand by your wives, their is nothing more disappointing in a marriage when the husband fails to protect their spouse.

  78. 78 : Nudge Says:

Well, after watching ep-08, this is a really good drama.

  79. 79 : xxxzxxx Says:

Hi Nudge. My holidays have been great – hope the same goes for you :).

  80. 80 : Nudge Says:

@xxxzxxx I am having a great time. We are in the southern hemi. and it is hot, hotter, hottest and hellish. :) It is either the beach or stay indoors with the AC. I like both but indoors to watch the latest drama eps is always a thrill.

I like the writing in this drama. I like how unlike some dramas playing at the moment, the characters here are being themselves and not being used by the writer to tell me how I ought to be feeling. The cinematography is alive and the score is not a bad effort at all. The score kinda reminds me the English crime drama “Lewis”, which uses the oboe in its theme music so beautifully, so longingly it makes the hairs on my arms stand up.

I love the cranky older sister too. She is what one might describe a what-you-see-is-what-you-get individual. The actress who plays the part is amazing. At times you could almost hear her mind ticking as if truly lost in her own world, oblivious to the film set.

The production sets an atmosphere that is incredibly genuine. So much so the characters don’t need the script-writer to dictate their actions. It’s an amazing achievement that one finds usually in costly movie productions.

For me, the storyline is somewhat inconsequential. One can safely predict the end and it isn’t as important as how it all gets there. It is mesmerizing. Let us hope it maintains those qualities to the end.

  81. 81 : Jyenie Says:

Ep18, 19 it’s getting more and more interesting, my favourite drama at the moment.
I think Chae Rin’s days in Tae Won’s family are numbered:)

  82. 82 : ptsh836 Says:

    ep 18:

    i cant help but think that d aggressive approach undertaken by oh eun soo (OES) against d mistress, lee dami has backfired n further deteriorated her once perfect 2nd marriage to kim joon goo…if she had followed d traditional way of letting sleeping dogs lie…things may have worked out differently;

in a way, her mil has abt given up on her (OES) stubborn resolves to do things her way n refusing to listen to advice fr d elders n her husband; nobody will be blamed except herself if this marriage breaks apart vry soon… i believe if she had pretended not to see or hear or care abt dis mistress issue, she would have been none d wiser for it.

amongst d whole bunch of dysfunctional adults in dis drama, i find jung seul gi, d miserable kid torn apart by all this squabbling to be d wisest one; one who is matured beyond her age but eventually will end up a shrivelling mass of nerves!

  83. 83 : soetan adejoke Says:

    Its getting interesting

  84. 84 : Sharon Says:

I think ES is overreacting a bit! She does not really love the husband. ES marriage was over when she realized that she could not have her daughter by her side. Why did she marry JG? Why come back if you are not going to try and work it out!!

  85. 85 : Sharon Says:

Why are some woman like that to their stepchildren. They treat the step kids like crap!! I would kick that beach ass! Anyway her days are numbered, because her mother in law is going to find out she has no money. Then she will know what been miserable is like.

  86. 86 : Sharon Says:

Oh my goodness she just slap the kid’s face!! Oh no, she gots to go. She will never be nice to the child. Sad the child won’t reveal the slap to her father, or aunt. Now the stepmom can use this as a gateway to become abusive.

  87. 87 : Sharon Says:

After all that commotion the beach is having ice cream !!! I wish SG dad would use his brain and realize that’s not like his daughter to act that way.

  88. 88 : Yoli Says:

There are two major things going on SG dad is not paying attention to the signs his new wife is giving him. And knowing his daughter is a well behaved child he needs a wake up call. SG dad missing his first wife each and every day he’s become a sad man to watch.

SG oma is expecting a baby what twist and turns will happen with this couple, only good thing the father in law mentioned that he would buy them an apartment once they had their first child.

  89. 89 : ptsh836 Says:

i dun know if im in d minority but i simply cant seem to like OES’s (lee ji ah) character in this drama; d real person herself too…i dislike her perpetual scowling face with downturned lips n mostly unemotional acting throughout fr start till now…im getting tired of her whining n ungratefulness in her ability to snag a 2nd husband so easily n not appreciating her current status; im sure she must hv known how her life wud turn out in such a prosperous household…yet, she shows us her reluctance to return home every now n then, she’s now realizing her mistake n is considering quitting??

besides her daughter, seul gi, who is wise n mature, her father is another wise character whom i admire vry much…he alwayz gives gud advice to his daughters n nvr pressures them to do things his way, d rite way that is…n d silly OES does things foolishly n impulsively n it hurts to see her parents suffer in silence ovr her immaturity n mistakes…

i dislike that she is so full of herself all d time n often gives her ex-husband an earful shud anything happen to seul gi when she herself is sometimes at fault too…she is one character who doesnt know d meaning of being humble n often attacks when struck n this is alwayz d surest way to destruction in anything we do…

  90. 90 : Nudge Says:

I think the step-mother eating ice cream during a family crisis was a good touch. But this drama has oh so many of those subtleties.

This gets better and it gets sweeter. It is sweet because of how the three families have the one child to repose their affections on.

The writer has nicely crafted the character of the little one, so much so I feel what she’s going through without cringing.

These South Korean directors and writers are just too damn good. Why they don’t apply the same intensity to dramas like Empress Ki and other period dramas?

If only all the dramas had this level of attention to detail.

  91. 91 : Sharon Says:

    I agree with you.

  92. 92 : budgie smuggler Says:

An interesting debate between Chae Rin and Tae Won over how to treat the housekeeper. CR thinks she’s just a servant while TW and the rest of the family treats the housekeeper as family. Chae Rin struggles to get the concept into her head.

  93. 93 : Sharon Says:

I really don’t think CR know the concept of family. Since she became his wife she has only try to divide the family. Therefore, she will never see the maid as family only as someone that’s subservient to her.
I wonder what’s her family dynamics are like. So far I don’t think she has a good background.

  94. 94 : Nudge Says:

I wondered about that too. I don’t want to speculate much but I don’t believe CR is in love. What I think, with her it is possession.

In many ways she’s immature, seemingly incapable of adjusting to a new environment and position as Jung Tae Won’s wife. She shows apathy when processing boundaries in relationships. In her mind a maid is a servant. Servants obey their master’s wishes without the back-chat.

The relationship between father and daughter is incongruous to how she thinks father daughter relations ought to be. She probably never had such loving attention from her own parents and so envies Seul Gi. If she was in love with Seul Gi’s father, she’d feel included in the warmth of their love. (I love the sound of the name “Seul Gi”. It’s like “silk”)

The writer and actor had captured the nuances of the personality type of CR oh so well, it is a joy to watch this drama.

  95. 95 : Sharon Says:

It’s sad that the daughter in law knows how to do nothing. She can’t cook, clean, wash and her hands are so delicate that she can’t hold anything hot.
However, there are two things she like/can do and that is to bully a child and get F#%k. Wow!! What a catch.

  96. 96 : candee Says:

Sami is a slur. Join goon should just divorce &go with Sami. He’s a dog. Wife is pregnant he’s still cheating. I think she will lose the baby .too distressed .. she will get back with first husband. I’m fed up with this drama.

  97. 97 : Love Says:

    # 96 candee
    I total agree with You!
I’m also Disgusted with this drama that Oh Eun Soo, really don’t know what she really wants! She gave away her daughter and still bitch to her EX of what is going on!
Plus the other characters (her older sister and friends) they worthless in this drama!
They should cut this drama Short!

  98. 98 : ptsh836 Says:

@Love: hahaha…ur right on d dot as regards hyun soo, d vet n joo ha…my ears r hurting soooo much fr all d yelling, huffing n puffing thrown at kwang moo, d worthless n softie luv interest…why, hyun soo nvr talks; all she does is scream n screech; even at her parents! i hate her n her ridiculous ideals abt marriage…incidentally she also acted d same kinda character in another drama “childless comfort” as a hard headed single mom…same way of ‘talking’!

i also hate OES (lee ji ah) immensely; i find it absurd for her to continuously confront d mistress, not only once mind u; n how silly can she get by tugging her hubby along too…trying to talk sense, acting civilized in front of a crazed n obsessive woman who repeatedly do not believe in bowing out of this relationship, save ur breath, OES this is a mission impossible, cant u see??? her direct approach is all wrong, she shud use some other ways now that she has d trump card in her unborn child; she does not hv to really lift a finger…if she’s smart enuf! ><

i also hate d way OES fusses ovr her daughter in everything that she does n says…seul gi is more mature n smarter than her in many ways; yet she keeps on playing d meddlesome mom; im really tired of her character…her biggest flaw is she doesnt know where she stands n what she wants; in my eyes, she is an idle, ovrbearing, arrogant, n stupid human being! o-O!

  99. 99 : Sharon Says:

Wow!! Lot of disdain for ES. I must admit she can be quite annoying and overbearing especially to her parents. I believe she no longer loves her husband, but due to the fact that she is pregnant she decides to give her marriage a second chance.
I don’t believe the husband really want to get rid of Dami totally. Not to mention he has a friend that pushes him to see her and had the balls to tell to keep her on the side. As far as I am concern, JH is a rich brat that get what he wants and wants what he get.

  100. 100 : Love Says:

Oh Eun Soo (second hubby) Kim Joon Goo again slept with his (girlfriend)
    Dami on episode 27 !
Gee………… his so hot pants, his wife is not enough for him! I hope she lose that child she is carrying. Anyway she not a good mother to begin with, she need to grow up, and her family (mom & dad) need to leave her alone instead of crying for her all the time.
Her sister should get going with that dog doctor. Nothing is so great with those three characters, they just in there as EXTRA for been cartoonist.

  101. 101 : Sharon Says:

JG need to be taught a lesson! He is too much. He Then feel guilty and buying gift and flowers to ease his conscience. I hope ES fines out and leave him and his family .

  102. 102 : Maria Says:

JG never learn his lesson. Looks like episode 28, he is contacting Dami! I think he is going to continue the affair until ES finds out. I really hope this drama finishes at 32 episodes as per original plan cos I am fed up of this drama repeating itself and I just can’t stand Chae Rim.

Time for JG and ES to break up (and maybe she will loose this baby when she finds out the affair) and let’s have her patching up with her ex-husband. I would love to see the romance for this couple. Would be nice to see how they get back together. One thing for sure, their daughter would be very happy.

  103. 103 : Jyenie Says:

A lot of good news in the ep 29 preview :) I am so pleased to see Chae Rin acting so unreasonably and miserably toward SK, that means TW might divorce her. Sami sends ES her intimate pictures with JG, this will lead to divorce.
After going through all the mistakes and troubles, it seems that ES and TW will have a second chance to be together again!

  104. 104 : Aida Says:

Agreed with maria. Hope ES and TW together. I cant stand CR too… Really true character step mother!

  105. 105 : Maddie Says:

Oh those piano passages in episode 30 are daebak! At times hinting the blues yet never stating it. So it is with this very excellent drama. Our writer is careful not to beat us over the head with contrived plot twists. The story just flows at a natural pace keeping one interested.

I especially liked the last scene in E30 when Eun Soo’s father comes over to console his daughter. Nothing was said, as she cried the expression on the father’s face says it all.

There are 10 episodes left. I’m totally intrigued by how it will play out.

  106. 106 : reindeer song Says:

Sharon of course not, he is content with a mistress and the good wife. Her return was to pressure and her parents wishes, she did not wholeheartedly went back for her, in the interum she became preggy, now she is cornered, she has to live it out with mr hotpants! Why must us women have to understand a cheating husband? Whe we cheat we are ostracized, but when a man does it it’s okay? Isn’t that double standard? What’s good for the goose should be good for the gander. That’s Korean hierarchy for you unbalanced.

  107. 107 : Dora Lee Says:

its really good drama, worth to watch. with good content and good actors /actress.

    love it

  108. 108 : Jyenie Says:

That chaebol family is really pissed off that their wealth is nothing in the eyes of their daughter in-law 😮

  109. 109 : Sharon Says:

They are all crazy. What’s up with CR, she is totally abusive to SG because she is so insecure of her marriage. JH is the biggest Ahole for life. I hope ES and TW find their way back to love.

  110. 110 : Jyenie Says:

I hate it when they say she thinks she is the only woman in this world!? Anyway they should have accepted SG into the family in the first place.
Serve JG right for not taking ES’s words seriously, he only has himself to blame. I never like him from day 1,he is so full of himself.
ES and TW are lucky if they have the second chance to get back together with the baby as souvenir after the brief detour from their original marriage :)

  111. 111 : Jyenie Says:

It is a total mess and havoc when an immature woman(8 year-old mentality) trying to play wife and step mother. I don’t understand why she doesn’t let SG get in touch with her own mother!? She has such a tantrum when she is upset! Poor SG, she is breathing down her neck all the time, she just can’t leave her alone. Her parents are ignorant to think that they could just marry off a daughter like this without attaching the inheritance?! I agree with TW’s mother albeit she deserves it that it’s a scam :)

  112. 112 : Sharon Says:

True, how the hell CR parents want people to take her for free. They better attach som inheritance money and a lot if land, because their daughter is wacko!! Then again her mother bathe her until she was in a High School.

  113. 113 : Jyenie Says:

This is exactly what I mean :). She is good for nothing, she’d better stay single for the rest of her life, I really can’t stand her.

  114. 114 : reindeer song Says:

No matchmaker will set CR up again, because there is no inheritance attached to the union. CR will find her own man or move to America or New Zealand, she will grow up really fast, or end up in a psycharist hospital.

  115. 115 : Maddie Says:

Kim Ji Young as Seul Gi is giving a terrific performance. I’ve not seen a young actor of her calibre in Korean dramas, though there are and have been better know child actors.

  116. 116 : Maddie Says:

I like how this drama is using the full potential of the cast.

  117. 117 : Big fan Says:

This is such a great drama with outstanding performance from all the cast. Eun Soo is such an elegant, lovely, strong-willed woman. I hope she ends up with Tae won. It is obvious that Tae Won still adores Eun Soo and will always do anything for her. Hyun Soo and Kang Moo really make a cute couple. I like the way the 2 sisters are strong women who love their partners but do not feel compelled to do what society demands of women in their culture. I also love the way sisters’s parents deal with grace and support all the ups and downs of daughters’s lives. This drama got better with each episode. It is my favorite drama currently!

  118. 118 : Sharon Says:

The last two ep was really good, I never thought that this drama had the guts to keep me this glued. I thought several times to give up on it, but something kept me going back and I must say IT HAS GOTTON SOOO MUCH BETTER!! The writers has step up their game especially when they introduce CH’s character.
I don’t know how I really feel about ES as yet. Sometimes I feel bad for her and sometimes I feel as if she deserved it. JG need to get his ego under control and beg his wife for forgiveness instead of acting entitled and feel that ES should understand because he is a man. I see he is starting to feel uneasy about ES and her ex-husband relationship, good. I hope ES and TW do find their way back to each other and take him down a peg.
I was wondering if CH can sue the family if her and TW get a divorce. I know TW could go on physical abuse and neglect.
What do you think CH will do when found out TW and EG are spending more time together.

  119. 119 : reindeer song Says:

Sorry folks but JG behavior is trypical of Korean me misbeheavor/cheating ways. I think I’m entitles to say that because I went thru a cheating korean with one of my friends, he refuses to end his realationship and expected her to accept his cheating ways. She has sworn off of dating Korean men and getting on with her life. Oh! when the wife divorcehim the mistress left him, it’s just for the thrill to see how far the cheater will go.He alos threatened her if she should sleep around he will hurt her…Go figure!!!!

  120. 120 : dramababy Says:

I dont like OES’s charactor and lee ji ah is not pretty enough with bad acting skill.
I agree most comments with ptsh836 for this drama except that with Oh Hyun Soo (Uhm Ji Won). OHS is a cool charactor. I want to have such a friend myself that one can totally trust. She doesn’t need to be amiable. Uhm Ji Won’s acting is superb. I like her.
When I get bored with OES’s swinging charactor and unhappy face, I skipped her part and concentrating on OHS’s story line and the little girl Seul Gi scenes. Song Chang Ui plays well the first husband Tae Won, as usual. He is a very reliable actor.

  121. 121 : Jyenie Says:

    Ep 35
CR is so pathetic and I feel sorry for her having such an immature personality. One’s character can really decide his/her destiny. Sigh. Her marriage with TW is a big mistake from the beginning, how can she marries someone based on his love for his ex wife and his daughter?!
When she found out that ES is separated from JG through SG, her level of craziness has gone up a notch. There is no free lunch in this world, how can CR’s parents assume they can marry off their daughter with such character? No wonder they agree to let her marry a divorcee with one kid.

  122. 122 : Jyenie Says:

I think CR’s parents just dumps their burden by marrying her to TW, now they are celebrating it with a long vacation. No wonder they don’t mind that TW is a divorcee with one daughter.

  123. 123 : Sharon Says:

    @Jyenie 122
Hahaha! So right! I haven’t watch yet, waiting for 100% sub.

  124. 124 : Aida Says:

Haha…cant wait for the final episode!

  125. 125 : reindeer song Says:

Here is another scenerio, in CR maddening rage about SG &TW met with ES and she became enraged and push her down loose the child and that’s how TW got his divorce. Sound pausible eh!!!! Or ES may go back to cheating hubby for the child sake (BULL) they renew their vows here in lies the woman who marry thrice eh! pausible…. CR will evenually end up in a psych ward. But TW & ES with SG will live outside greedy granny house ES has set up the scene getting her own place.

  126. 126 : reindeer song Says:

  127. 127 : Jyenie Says:

Ep38 I am surprised that Tae Won is not divorcing CR. Anyway I am proud of his decision, everybody deserves a second chance including himself. I hope that CR has learned her lesson this time :)

  128. 128 : reindeer song Says:

No, she will hit the child again. “The meaning for the title of this drama is, ES will divorce JG and remarry him, she will stay for the child which is sad, a child cannot make a man not cheat, it just make everyone unhappy. But again choices we all make them but who suffers? In that household ES cannot breathe, if that is the case it won’t get any better for her unless she moves out with her child and daughter and Mr. Cheater. That family is suffocating especall the wife. Pray hope the two main leads will come together.

  132. 132 : Nudge Says:

Is Chae Rin’s story about her abusive father true or is it another side to her madness?

  133. 133 : Nudge Says:

Makes sense why Chae Rin was violent with Seul Gi if indeed she was raised in a violent household. But she is damaged and in denial, making her a danger to herself and others.

Though it pales by comparison to the violence and abuse in many households I have witnessed, it is generally the psychological effect on the individual rather than the degree of the violence that is the true measure of the damage.

Seul Gi is sensitive and fragile. Chae Rin is a bundle of potential misfiring neurons.

  134. 134 : Nudge Says:

Okay, so episode 38 we see Cha Rin’s abusive father in action.

  135. 135 : reindeer song Says:

I was in a NJ office and I experience a korean Dad put a beating on his daughter a grown person because she fail to do as he asked. What they hay, I wanted to call the Police but was stopped because this is not the first time it happend. What parent has the right? Let your children live their lives, if they fall help them up, but abuse at that magnitude was dowright shameful. Fool them with money and things that’s the way to controll them SHAME!SHAME. KParent need to get a life, this has occured too many times in my presence, believe me it’s frightening.

  136. 136 : Sharon Says:

It’s sad to know how abusive some parents can be. When I saw CR on the ground and been kicked like an animal was surreal. I am glad TW realized that his family and himself has abused her emotionally. Therefore, taking responsibility to get her help and protect her is commendable, because he was not able to protect ES.

  137. 137 : reindeer song Says:

Question? OFF TOPIC! In all these kdrama, why do they put such importance on who their family is? Who really cares. It’s like they are god’s, so what your parents have some money and live in a fairly nice homes with maids, again so what? Other who are less fortunate lives life like that too, but they care for others not obnoxious and rude.
Why do they think that their Sh**t does not stink, this annoys me. The arrogence the projects, bothers me when it not there money, they have not earned their keep. They structs around like peacocks, even in Korean you see that quite a lot, especially in clubs. Also, why do men in Korea wear soooo much makeup, I was shock to see young men and grown men wearing makeup. These scenario are constantly in K Dramas it does not bode well.

  138. 138 : reindeer song Says:

Yes, but CR was broken long before she came to TW. She fraudulently marry him, abuse his daughter, instead of trying to fix herself she became jealous of a child, along with her rude attitude and combative insolence. If you are a person of an abusive familt , don’t you try to become a better person, or even try to fix what you is broken in you?? Excuses, Excuses! TW has taken on a task, of parenting his wife from scratch, so, so, sad.

  139. 139 : Nudge Says:

About your comment re: the Korean parent beating his daughter in public. Yes, it irks me as well, I have western values. But let’s pull back and look at this with larger perspective; better that than “honour-killing” her away. Wouldn’t you agree?

Honour-killing is ingrained in the normalcy of some cultures where a teenage daughter can be killed by her family for speaking to a teenage boy, even in passing.

  140. 140 : Sodasister Says:

Omg I hate this kind of ending so much…Why SBS keep made the drama with sad ending..

  141. 141 : Aida Says:

Agreed. Why SBS making such sad ending

  142. 142 : loulou Says:

Wtf is this ending???Wasn’t she supposed to marry 3 times? Even that child beater Chae Rin had a happy ending. THIS WAS A WASTE OF PRECIOUS TIME

  143. 143 : wilie Says:

I thought it would have a beautiful ending, but??? I just don’t know what was in writer’s
mind. Is she tooo confused or too lazy? It was better only 32 episodes.

  144. 144 : Maria Says:

This is the worst Korean or any drama I have ever watched! The writer is crazy or just plain stupid! I will never watch any of her drama again! Goodness! She is trying to tell us that the mistress if you keep coverting somebody’s husband long enough, he will be yours plus all his money! And the child abuser CR, if you hit your stepchild many times but because you are an abused child, it is okay, with love from your husband, you will be cured! And ES, it is okay, both your ex husbands are living a great life with their crazy wife/girlfriend and you lost the husband you love and your baby and you ended up poor! The the sister, yes, the writer said we can all live in sin! In fact, she is telling us that doing wrong will have the ultimate happiness! So ladies, let’s have affair with married men and they will landed up yours and yes, those stepmothers, beat your stepchildren and then pretend you are an abused child and your husband will forgive you and love you….what bullshit!

  145. 145 : Aida Says:

Agreed with maria. I will never watch any drama from the writer!

  146. 146 : Unhappy Says:

Waste my Time, it took a Day Life Of my Every Day Schedule!

  147. 147 : zarima Says:

the worst ever… wasted my time..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  148. 148 : susie Says:

really disappointing. Regret watching until end. Stupid ending. The bad get away with what they want. And stupid mother example. Choose self over others. So selfish. Would have been better if end with choosing to love others and less of herself. BIG REGRET WATCHING!!!!

  149. 149 : phenix Says:

More than being a bad ending it’s a realistic ending, Eun soo is modern woman, she is very active, proud and gave twice chances to her husband to change but he didn’t change his behavior. I don’t know why the viewers want to have always this kind of ending:” they get married and lived happy and had a lot of children”. But in this ending everybody seems happy the cheater husband went back to her lover, the rich family got their grand- children and Eun soo got married three times this time with herself ( she was even wearing 3 rings at the end of episode) and she looked happy with her daughter and her career, not having a man to lean against is not the end of the world….. very realistic drama and I liked the ending!

  150. 150 : gomawoyo Says:

The writer must have known this kind of ending would disappoint the audience. So what was the rationale? Realism? Fuck that! This is drama-land not a documentary. And if I want “realism”, why would I bother watching a drama. I’m already surrounded realism.

  151. 151 : phenix Says:

    gomawoyo Says:
so you are expecting always to see a happy ending in drama?
so I guess you are young and this drama was not meant to you. I guess you like drama such Faith?
I am sorry after watching 2-3 ep of “faith” I gave up, it was so childish!
I really enjoyed this drama and liked Eun Soo character, she is a free woman and with good job even though she made a mistake and divorced from her first husband whom she loved ( but did she have any other alternative because her mother in law was a wicked woman) and then married a rich man who this time cheated on her twice, because she was a proud woman she decided to part from him and live alone with her daughter. Did you expect that she goes back to her first husband, it’s not realistic and what about her second husband? with her proud character this option was also nil!it’s some kind sad ending but the shows goes on and the life continue and the last scene of the drama described very well her situation : while drinking a soda she belched and smiled!
Again I agree this was an adult drama and not advised for all ages but it was a good drama!

  152. 152 : ptsh836 Says:

rite fr d start ES had been making all d wrong life choices…had she for once listened to her parents’ advice, she wud not have ended up alone; she not only hurt herself but d ppl around her suffered too…her daughter had more sensibility n maturity than her; all she had left was her humongous pride which was not worth trading for her baby…

she’s a pathetic woman; some may call her strong i call her stupid n egoistic! once in a while she has to back down n try leaning on others for a change instead of putting on a brave front for show n then crying in d shadows…

one mistake with seul gi was enuf, but she repeats it with her son…she shud be charged with child abandonment! n she dares to be happy to be a free woman while some crazy, suicide prone woman brings up her son…o.O!

    i simply hated her in d beginning n now d end too…><!

  153. 153 : Yozora Says:

1 thing i like about a koreandrama, it’s gave us a dream from reality. Lots of us like to have some fantasy that if u are a good person, in the end all will be good for u…

This drama, definitely not portray that fantasy…

And yes, i am an adult that like a fantasy kind of story, reality, already have so kuch in my own life, doesn’t need to see it in koreandrama too, and i don’t like Faith though… Not a Lee Min Ho fans…

the Faith drama is good story and 2nd to the listed in 2012 poll closed drama.
dont compare the ”The Woman Who Married Three Times” and ”Faith”.
I am sure that ” The Woman Who Married Three Times” is NOT be listed in this year because it was boring.

    ”Faith” is 2nd in 2012.

  156. 156 : Anx Says:

Umm maybe Im a little bit disappointed in the final ep .. But eun soo did a very well decision.. Anyway I did not like chae rin.. I just hope that taewon can get back with eun soo but love story its not about the happy ending.. Its about the story..Umm umm :(

  157. 157 : Richard Johnson Says:

Gomawoyo @150. Thanks. I won’t watch this drama. I agree 100% with your outlook and appreciate the clarity with which you state it. If I understand Wikipedia correctly, the writer herself thinks that unrealistic stories and characters are childish.

  158. 158 : nae Says:

i’m now on epi 38 of this drama & been seeing here that it’s not a favorable ending, while watching i was hoping eun soo & tae won will get back together but based fr reading here it’s not happening; i really hate that chae rin character how cld she hit that little girl then later on she claimed to have been physically abused as a child so that answers the question why she’s so cold to the little girl! what i read in one of the posts here she married herself? what? LOL oh well we can’t always get what we wished for with kdramas endings, i watched bc of Song chang ui who’s a very good, versatile actor!
