Bok Nyeo gets married to a poor Joseon aristocrat and lives a hard life to survive. She pays for her family’s living by catching caterpillars in a forest reserve. But she loses her job in the reserve and her husband disappears after borrowing money from a Chinese. In order to repay the husband’s debt to the Chinese, she works at his vegetable farm. Later her husband comes back and suspects Bok Nyeoand the Chinese might have had an affair. He tries to terminate him only to be terminateed.
