Synopsis

As the Hwagae Marketplace on the stem of the Seomjin River and the border between Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do, there is a large market, so people are frequent. Ok Hwa, who plays the tavern, is visited by an old man who had been defeated by Namsadang 30 years ago. After leaving his daughter Gye Yeon to Ok Hwa, he leaves for Jirisan, and soon after, Ok Hwa’s son, Seong Gi, returns from thetemple. Seong Gi, who started a small shop, is attracted to Gye Yeon and loves each other.
However, Gye Yeon was the old man’s daughter, and the old man was Seong Gi’s grandfather, who stayed here 30 years ago. Seong Gi realizes the unattainable love and sets off on a wandering road.
