Kim Junsu (JYJ, TVXQ)

Kim Junsu (registered on January 1, 1987, in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea) better known by his stage names, Xiah (she-ah), Xiah Junsu (in South Korea) and Junsu (ジュンス) (in Japan), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, occasional actor, and was a member of South Korean boy band TVXQ, known as Dong Bang Shin Ki in South Korea and Tohoshinki in Japan. After TVXQ was placed on hiatus he became a member of JYJ, which made its global debut in October 2010.

Xiah was born and raised in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He has an older fraternal twin brother named Junho, known as Zuno. In 2002, Xiah participated in the 6th Annual Starlight Casting System, which led him to be cast by SM Entertainment to take part in TVXQ.

Xiah has appeared on two televised shows with TVXQ, Banjun Theater and Vacation. He also made a guest appearance in Family Outing.

On Nov 10, 2021 he announced his departure from C-JeS Entertainment, his agency for the past 12 years and established the one-man agency PALMTREE ISLAND with his longtime manager.
