Paul Kim

Paul Kim, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyeong is a South Korean singer/songwriter born February 11, 1988.
He lived in New Zealand for five years where he attended high school there. He then went to an international school for his university education in Japan. Afterwards, he returned to South Korea to start his music career.
He debuted in 2014 and has since then released two extended plays and two full-length albums. First album was released in two parts: The road (2017) and Tunnel (2018). Second album was also released in two parts: Heart, One (2019) and Heart, Two (2020).
He has also released many singles, collaborations and has had soundtrack appearances. His single “Me after you” was released in 2018 and was certified platinum for 200 million streams in June 6, 2020. by the KMCA (Korean Music Content Association).
He sang the soundtracks “Every day, Every Moment” for South Korean drama “Should we kiss first” and “So long” for South Korean drama “Hotel del Luna” and both songs were certified platinum by the KMCA.
In 2019, he appeared in the third season of South Korean reality show Begin again.
He has been nominated for many awards in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 and he won some of them. He won Music Steady Seller of the Year at the Gaon Chart Music Awards for his single “Me after you”. He won Best Original Soundtrack, Best Male Solo Artist and The Top Music – Daesang (Grand Prize) at Genie Music Awards. At Golden Disc Awards he won Best OST award and Digital Bonsang award.
He also won Best OST award at Melon Music Awards and Bonsang award at Seoul Music Awards.
