Park Seung Hi

Park Seung Hi is a South Korean retired short track and long track speed skater. She won two gold medals and three bronze medals at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. She has a sister and a brother who are both speed skaters as well. After the 2014 Winter Olympics she decided to switch to long track speed skating. She had originally planned on retiring from speed skating altogether after 2014 but wanted to challenge herself to skate in long track and also have the honor of competing in her home country in the 2018 Winter Olympics. She did not win a medal in 2018 but she became the first South Korean athlete to ever compete in short track and long track speed skating at the Olympics. After the 2018 Winter Olympics, Park announced her retirement from speed skating. She worked for SBS Sports during the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
