Park Ae Ri is a South Korean traditional singer. She started learning pansori at the age of 9. From 1999 until 2015 she was part of the National Changgeuk Troupe. In 2010, she married dancer, rapper and singer Nam Hyun-joon, often referred to as Poppin’ Hyun Joon. After marrying, both Park and Nam have been creating amazing collaboration stages, mixing traditional music with hip hop and dance. Park also helped teenagers become more familiarized with gugak by collaborating with other pop music artists.
