Ooon (HALO)

Jung Young Hoon is an idol under ORBIT UNION and leader of the Japanese-Korean boy group ORβIT, which debuted on November 11th 2020 with the album "00".

Younghoon was a Starship Entertainment trainee, but left the company and debuted with Korean boy group HALO in 2014. Jung Young Hoon, better known by his earlier stage name OOON, was the leader, vocalist, rapper, and dancer of the boy group.

He is also an MC. He appeared in Sistar’s video for the song ”Give it to me”. OOON was a backup dancer for MBLAQ’s song ”It’s War”, Sistar’s songs ”Give It To Me” and ”Gone Not Around Any Longer” and K.Will’s song ”Lay Back”. He was also a prospective member of the group NUBOYZ (together with Won Ho, Shownu and Joo Heon from MONSTA X and the rapper GUN).

He was a contestant on Produce 101 Japan, but left the show due to personal reasons. February 9, 2020 Younghoon was announced to be a member of ORβIT, a Japanese-Korean seven-member boy group.
