Oh Seung Uk

A graduate from the Seoul National University’s Sculpture Art College, Oh Seung Uk entered the film industry as an assistant director, but he really made his mark when he co-wrote the films ‘Green Fish’ and ‘Christmas in August’. He made his directorial debut in 2001 with ‘Kilimanjaro’ and, fourteen years later steped behind the camera again with ‘The Shameless’. In ithe meantime he worked as a professor at the Korean Academy of Film Arts, shepherding many of the new names leading the industry, such as Jo Sung Hee.
