Li Yuan Bing is a Chinese-Canadian actress born in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Li moved to Beijing when she was one year old, and later immigrated to Toronto, Canada with her family when she was six years old. She is a fraternal twin. Li has Canadian Citizenship and is also fluent in Chinese, English, and French.
From the age of 10, Li and her twin sister studied drama at The Young People Theatre in Toronto. In 2014, they received drama performance training at the Drama Department of Ryerson University. In 2016, Li participated in the Beijing Film Academy art test and got first place on the test.
