Lee Yong Sik

Lee Yong Sik is a South Korean comedian. He graduated from Dongyang Technical High School and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in Korean Language and Literature from Kyungwon University. He made his debut in 1975 as part of the 1st open recruitment for comedians at MBC. From the beginning, he established himself as a solid and funny comedian and he was quickly labeled as one the "new faces of comedy". His mandatory military enlistment was covered in the news and many fans went to wish him well. After being discharged, he returned as the lead comedian on MBC comedy shows like "Sunday Sunday". He also occasionally writes articles for magazines related to hunting or fishing as those are his main hobbies. He is married since 1983 and the couple has only one daughter, Lee Soo Min, an accomplished cellist. Both opened a Youtube channel in 2020 and he is taking the role of host in more recent programs.
