He was supposed to debut together with the other trainees, now ATEEZ, but because of his short training period he was withdrawn from the final line up. He was first shown in the 10th episode of their KQ FELLAZ USA TRAINING reality show. Joon Young is a rapper and took part in the self made KQ Fellaz song "From".
