Lee Eul Yong

Lee Eul Yong is a South Korean retired professional footballer and current coach and manager. He graduated from Gangneung Commerce High School where he played in the school’s soccer team. However, his skills were not considered developed enough and he was not selected for any university club and stopped playing for a few years. Ultimately, he made his debut in 1995 when semi-professional team Korea Railroad offered him a contract. He moved to Sangmu FC in 1996 and spent that season and the next. In 1998, he finally made his professional debut when Bucheon SK hired him. He scored 11 goals in 90 appearances between 1998 and 2003 before being sent on loan to Türkiye where he played for Trabzonspor. In 2003, he returned to South Korea and enrolled with FC Seoul for one season before going to Trabzonspor again between 2004 and 2006. He came back to FC Seoul in 2007 and in 2009 he moved to Gangwon FC where he finished his career in 2011. He also represented his country, scoring 3 goals in 51 appearances, including one goal during the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
