Lee Byeong Chan is a South Korean singer and former weightlifter. He graduated from Pocheon-Il High School and since middle school was interested in weightlifting. He comes from a very modest background so his goal was to train hard and reach the Olympics. He won 3 gold medals in the Gyeonggi-do student athletic competition and was selected to the junior provincial representative. Sadly, a few months before the tryouts for the Olympics he suffered a severe knee injury that required 2 surgeries, ending his career. After a bout of depression, he found music as a way of filling the void and auditioned for TV Chosun’s "Tomorrow National Singer" placing 5th overall. He is currently represented by n.CH Entertainment.
