Kim Ye Ji is a South Korean singer and member of the band KARDI. She graduated from Howon University with a degree in Applied Music. She made her debut in 2020 with the digital single "Shut up and I’m here" (feat. Dbo) and immediately showed she is a flexible vocalist, regardless of genre, from R&B, ballads to metal. She appeared in a few singing competitions such as "The Voice: Korea", "King of Mask Singer", and "Super Band 2". In Super Band 2, she entered as a solo artist but during the competition joined other contestants to form rock band KARDI and placed 3rd overall. During an interview, she stated her personality and singer profile as a solo artist and as a member of KARDI is the complete opposite.
