Jennie (Blackpink)

Kim Jennie is a South-Korean pop singer and member of the female K-pop band BLACKPINK. Jennie studied in New Zealand before becoming a YG trainee in 2010. She rose to fame after appearing on singer G-Dragon’s music video ‘That XX’ and was also featured on his single ‘Black’. In 2016, she debuted with the girl group BLACKPINK. On November 12. 2018, Jennie debuted as a soloist with the song “SOLO“.

In 2021, Jennie took an active part in the photoshoot for Vogue Korea’s March issue. According to the magazine, this is the first time Jennie has participated in a photoshoot beyond modeling in front of the camera, and it served as her debut as a fashion editor.

On July 2022, it was announced that Jennie will be in a HBO drama series "The Idol" created by Abel "the Weeknd" Tesfaye, Reza Fahim, and Sam Levinson, the creator of Euphoria. She will act alongside Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan, and Debby Ryan.
