Kim Hee Jae is a South Korean trot singer and actor. He graduated from Korea Arts High School and later obtained a professional bachelor’s degree in Applied Music from Myongji Junior College. He participated in the "National Singing Contest" (or "Korea Sings") at age 14 along fellow trot singer Lee Chan Won and a few months later appeared as a trot prodigy on "Star King". He decided to enter the singing competition "Mr. Trot" and quickly became a fan favorite and managed to finish in 7th place.
