Kim Dong Young, known by his mononymous name Doyoung, is a South Korean singer, actor, host, and musical actor born in Guri, Gyeonggi. He is the main vocalist of NCT, a South Korean group under SM Entertainment. He is also under its subunits, NCT 127 and NCT U. He first debuted with NCT U in 2016 and later got added to NCT 127 in 2017. His training period was 2 years and 5 months.
Kim made his acting debut in 2021 with the MBC web series “Cafe Midnight Season 3: Curious Stalker”. On May 6, 2021, EMK Musical Company announced that Kim will be participating in the famous play Marie Antoinette, scheduled to run from July to October.
His older brother, Gong Myung, is an actor and member of the K-pop boy group 5URPRISE.
