Kang Hyung Chul

Kang Hyung Chul is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. He was born in Jeju Island, South Korea, and had attended Young In University. He is a critically acclaimed director and screenwriter as he won two Baeksang Arts Awards for. The first one was for his debut movie "Scandal Makers" and the second was for "Swing Kids". His works are also well-received from the Korean and international audiences as well. "Scandal Makers" (2008) and "Sunny"(2011), for he was the director and screenwriter, have been the highest-grossing movies in their respective years. His other directorial ventures "Tazza: The Hidden Card" and "Swing Kids" trended well in the box office. "Swing Kids" ranked first in the pre-sales, and attracted more than 1 million viewers in one day.
