Justine Chen is a Chinese-American artist and filmmaker who recently graduated from USC School of Cinematic Arts and is currently freelancing within the art department. In her personal work, she explores the intersections of her identity and the contradictions that lay within, whether that be related to cultural heritage, mental illness, or gender identity. As an artist, she is interested in seeing how these complications can affect a person and the ways in which they navigate levels of intimacy and trust. She is equally as passionate about working in production design, and is especially excited to work on projects that emphasise and explore heritage in emotionally resonant ways.
