Jin (BTS)

Kim Seok Jin, better known by his stage name Jin, is a member of the South Korean boy group, BTS, who made their debut on June 13, 2013, on “Mnet’s M! Countdown with the track “No More Dream” from their debut single album 2 Cool 4 Skool. Together with the members of BTS, he went on to win a series of awards and performed at several events such as the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

He enrolled at Konkuk University in southeastern Seoul, majoring in film, and graduated with a degree in art and acting in February 2017. He is currently pursuing further studies at Hanyang Cyber University.

Jin has co-written and released three solo tracks with BTS: “Awake” (2016), “Epiphany” (2018), and “Moon” (2020), all of which have charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.

As a solo artist, he has released two self-produced songs: “Tonight” in 2019 and “Abyss” in 2020.

In 2018, Jin, along with the rest of BTS, was awarded the Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea for the promotion of Korean culture around the world. Because of his good looks, he is called WWH (World Wide Handsome).
