Iconiq (Sugar)

Lee Ayumi is a South Korean singer and actress currently based in Japan and South Korea. Lee debuted in 2001 as the lead vocal of South Korean girl group Sugar and continued until 2006 when the group disbanded. From 2006 until 2007, she remained her career as soloists with release three digital singles in South Korea.

In 2008, she moved to Japan and began her acting career as Yumi Itō. She was born in Tottori, Japan. Her father is a second-generation Zainichi Korean from Japan, and her mother is a Korean from Chungcheong. She lived in Japan until her at the age of 15 and moved to South Korea. Lee attended Korea Kent Foreign School during her teenage years.

In 2009, she transitioned back into music as Iconiq and released one studio album, one mini-album and seven digital singles. In 2016, she announced that she had transitioned into acting as Yumi Itō in Japan and Ahyoomee in South Korea.

She got married on November 2, 2022.
