Gong So Won

Gong So Won, born Park So Ah, is a South Korean singer and song-writer. She started her career in 2007 using the stage name of Han So Ah but she was active only as an OST singer for many dramas for MBC, KBS, and SBS. She was also a member of the duo "2lepik Soul" in 2009 before it disbanded after the release of their only digital single. She officially debuted as a solo artist in 2010 with the single "Can You Feel Ma Music" and in 2014, she signed with NHN Bugs, her current company. In 2015, she was offered a spot on the Chinese version of the show "I Am a Singer" and trained there for one year before being told she wouldn’t be able to appear on the show due to a Chinese law that bans K-content in China commonly known as "Han Han-ryeong". She returned to South Korea and in 2019 she filed a petition to legally change her name from Park So Ah to Gong So Won. She then became a trot singer but due to her background, can sing ballads, R&B and pop songs as well.
