Choi Sung Ho

Born Choi Dol Seon, in Paju, Gyeonggi-do in 1922, he graduated from Waseda University, Japan.
After liberation, he worked with Kim Jin Gyu, Lee Ye Chun, and Choi Seong Ho at the Nana Acoustic Theatre organized by Banyawol in 1949.
In 1955, when he was active in a musical theatre group, he was selected by director Yoon Bong Chun and started acting as the lead role in ‘Non-Gae’.
In the early 1960s, he also worked with Park No Shik, Choi Ji Hee, and Bae Nam Bae in the ‘Oasis Show’, a performance group organized by singer Park Jae Hong, who made ‘Yu Jeong-cheonri’ a big hit at the time.
His son, Choi Dong Jun, is also actively working as a movie star.
