Born in 1977. Majored in Film at the Korean Academy of Film Arts. He?began to receive critics’ attention when his short film based on John Fowles’ novel, ”The French Lieutenant’s Woman”(2007), won the Best Film in The Extreme Nightmare section at the Mise-en-scene Short Film Festival. His movie, ”Members of the Funeral”(2008), the first film of KAFA FILM, the feature film production research of the Korean Academy of Film Arts, received a special mention in the New Currents section at the Busan International Film Festival and won the NETPAC award. Also, the film was officially invited to the 59th Berlin International Film Festival.
