AleXa previously known as Alex Christine , born Alexaundra Christine Schneiderman is an American dancer and singer. The daughter of a Korean adoptee, Alex Christine grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is ethnically half Korean half Russian. She began taking dance classes at 18 months and has taken ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, lyrical and tap. She joined a competitive dance team in 5th grade and has been involved in her high school pom team and elite show choir. Alex Christine says she was first exposed to K-pop in 7th grade.

Alex found fame after winning “Rising Legends: Season 2,” an audition competition program sponsored by Soompi and Cube Entertainment. Winning the top prize in the show in 2017 gave Alex Christine the opportunity to travel to Seoul, South Korea, to officially audition for Cube Entertainment and record her debut song and music video. She also stars in “LEGENDARY: Making of a K-Pop Star,” a 2017 Viki Original series that follows her trip to Seoul to experience the K-pop star treatment for the first time.

In 2018 she released her first single "Strike It Up". Alex was a contestant on Produce 48 under the record label ZB Label. She ranked #82 on episode 5 of Produce 48 and was eliminated. In 2019 she appeared in MAMAMOO – gogobebe music video. Alex made her official debut on October 20 2019 with the song ‘Bomb’.
