“Exhuma” Stars Thank Audiences After Surpassing 6 Million Moviegoers In Just 11 Days

“Exhuma” may be on track to becoming one of the biggest box office hits in South Korean history!

On March 3, the Korean Film Council announced that “Exhuma” had officially reached a total of 6,033,190 moviegoers—meaning that the film hit the 5 million mark just one day after surpassing 4 million moviegoers.

As “Exhuma” was first released on February 22, the hit film only took 11 days to reach the milestone—a record one day faster than the biggest box office hit of 2022, “The Roundup,” and one week faster than the biggest hit of 2023, “12.12: The Day.”

To celebrate the film’s latest achievement, stars Kim Go Eun, Choi Min Sik, and Yoo Hae Jin expressed their gratitude by posing for photos with handwritten thank-you messages. (Lee Do Hyun was unable to participate because he is currently serving in the military.)
