Synopsis

A concert to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the mime life of Mimeist Yu Jin Gyu will be held in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. Before the performance, rehearsals, follow-up sessions, interviews, and filming continue without hesitation. In the process, some point out that Jin Gyu’s art has changed, while others try to estimate where Jin Gyu’s desires are headed. From the 1970s, when he was 20, until now, when he became an old man,he is only preparing for the next by reminiscing on how he managed to ‘poetic expression of desire’ through mime. The film is a three-dimensional structure in which reality and film, stage and daily life are intertwined against the background of Yoseon Market. If there is space and music, mime starts anytime and anywhere, and it becomes a gesture metaphorizing the question and answer of the film.
