This incident was recorded as one of the three major subway disasters in the world. After the disaster, Daegu City and the investigative authorities closed the case with early remedies and detention of low-level managers rather than thorough investigation of the cause. The bereaved families are demanding a thorough investigation into the cause of the disaster, a full re-investigation, and punishment of the person in charge with eyes of anger rather than sadness for one year after the disaster.

“Lost” (길 잃은 시간, Gil Ilheun Sigan)
Two men fight in the street. When the cut changes, the two are reconciling. Maybe it’s a hometown friend I haven’t seen in a long time, but I don’t know why they fought. The two enter the train station and head to different platforms. One side continues to talk with the railroad in between, but the other side turns coldly.

But all she hears and sees is him, out of focus, as she struggles to express how she feels, something a photograph can’t capture.
