Just after Liberation day, a man tries to terminate a North Korean army commander with his friends. But he fails and defects to the South. When war breaks out, he joins the military and gets engaged in the operation of recapturing Pyeongyang. After entering Pyeongyang, he meets his old lover, who married his friend, a North Korean army officer. Heartbroken, he wishes her happiness and reenters the battle.
